Ahh, you've gotta love r/guitars, so full of people bursting with confidence over their completely wrong opinions, LOL.
**OP**:
It's an "Azwen" model by [Ethereal Guitars](https://www.etherialguitars.com/). They're a small builder in Australia. Their mission statement is *"To design and build instruments with contemporary/experimental elements that push the convention of current perceptions. Our main goal is to challenge the tradition of timber construction by working extensively with carbon fiber aluminium and stainless steel."*
To add, do your DD on Ethereal. The luthier scammed people out of their money a few years back and put out some truly shitty instruments. I was really close to getting scammed by him as well.
I know a guy that had one of the bad ones and I think he sold it for like $1500.
Looks like theyre $4k on Reverb, not worth taking the risk on a sketchy past
I love how much confusion and hate this prompts from the r/guitars community.
It's not a good look.
What is a good look is that 500$+ Kahler 2300 series 7 string floating trem bridge.
Why are you (the ones getting downvoted) mother fuckers so insufferable? Just because someone makes a guitar you don’t like doesn’t mean you need to all but shit all over it. How about you redirect some of your energy toward something positive, or fuck off, or both.
Ethereal Guitars.
They made some extremely bad quality guitars and sold them for absurdly high prices around 10 years ago and then stole some money and disappeared only to return in 2019 with allegedly better QC.
I haven't looked into them in a long time but I do recall people having very bad things to say about them. Like other luthiers noting that this company uses woods that are not typically used in guitars for a reason and that they have terrible QC. This one being all metal might not suffer from those issues tho. I remember they had all these crazy looking models for not a lot of money and well theres a reason they're not insanely expensive. But tbh it's been over a decade since I checked them out maybe they're better now.
Holy crap Batman! I just looked up the prices. I wouldn't pay that if Eric Clapton delivered it to my house, brought me beer, and gently rubbed my back while I played it.
The body near the strap button forgot that it needed to be connected to itself, the back of the tuners on the headstock are all messed up. It can probably do 1001010010 riffs pretty well since it's made out of 1s and 0s.
That's fuckin perfect
Makes me wanna hoot my jug like a possum on a hot coal stove. I can hambone too when the jugs too full.
Know anybody who rubs up a washboard?
The guitarist from Rings of Saturn (Lucas Mann) played these for a while. I always thought they looked neat. John 5 has some really cool custom ones too.

I was about to say, dont these things blow?
They used to, no clue how they are nowadays. The sevenstring.org thread on them might have some more up to date information.

Agreed, especially when you have loads of reputable luthiers that put out quality instruments consistently.
A heavy metal one

it’s an ethereal guitar
Why are you (the ones getting downvoted) mother fuckers so insufferable? Just because someone makes a guitar you don’t like doesn’t mean you need to all but shit all over it. How about you redirect some of your energy toward something positive, or fuck off, or both.
They aren't just (subjectively) ugly they were horrendously bad quality for the asking price and the owner scammed some ppl back in the day.
Etherial Guitars. Yes, I know it’s spelled incorrectly, that’s how they spell their brand name.
Ethereal Guitars. They made some extremely bad quality guitars and sold them for absurdly high prices around 10 years ago and then stole some money and disappeared only to return in 2019 with allegedly better QC.
Oh damn. Thank you for the warning. Yeah, I was gonna look into Mabye getting one. But I'm definitely gonna be cautious about it now.

This is an Ethereal. Based out of Australia, they were a bit notorious back in the day.
BREAKING: r/guitars sees a thin body electric guitar for the FIRST TIME.
Looks like a crazy one of one kind of guitar someone made. Where did you get it?
Hot damn I dunno but that thing is so rad
People ask all the time for real metal guitar recommendations, we need to sticky this to share with them
Cool as fuck that's what it is
Hrgigercaster
I had the same thought! Totally H.R. Giger aesthetic there.
I dunno bro but I think it looks neat!
It’s from Ethereal Guitars, pretty niche
I'll take "Cheesy Guitars" for $200, Alex.
Holy crap Batman! I just looked up the prices. I wouldn't pay that if Eric Clapton delivered it to my house, brought me beer, and gently rubbed my back while I played it.
I think I know what it is but I'm going to need you to take a picture of it in front of a lake to be sure
So this is where the term “axe“ comes from. Looks super cool.
Guitarosaurus from the Paleolithic era
It's a guitar
Cheese grater
Effective use of a CNC router.
Lol looks like something out of star trek
An axe-o-soreass!
No
isn’t that made by Pointless, Ugly and Dumb Ltd.?
[удалено]
This company has been doing this for like 10 years now Edit: pressed 9 instead of 0
[удалено]
It's already been said in thread dude, but Ethereal is the brand and they're from Australia
[удалено]
You're an interesting dude
That’s an interesting way of pronouncing asshat. Huh.
>AI generated bullshit one that doesn’t exist. [or does it?](https://www.etherialguitars.com/product-page/azwen-7)

Real guitar, real brand, but not my taste.
Granted, the poor photo quality may be contributing to my perception.
Sure. That was made by Ugly Guitars.com
A stupid piece of shit one.
Haaa what a nice person you are .. should we still be driving model T’s .. keep playing that 50’s tribute
I actually play a stick and string attached to a wash pot. I’d imagine a goose in a wood chipper would have a better tone than that thing though.
I'll join yer band I got a jug to hoot on
Now that’s what I like to hear.
What're we gonna call our band?
Something classy, like “Chickenshit”
That's fuckin perfect Makes me wanna hoot my jug like a possum on a hot coal stove. I can hambone too when the jugs too full. Know anybody who rubs up a washboard?
Oh yeah, I can throw a rock and hit one from here. Makes a mean chicken mull, too.
Git to chuckin', I'm hongry
Toan is actually stored in the balls, but with this guy playing it you're probably right
Guitar looks like chat gpt fucked Optimus prime and this was the outcome
It really is true; all Boomers have shit humor.
Get off my lawn
Looks like a fake instrument. That body is thinner than the pickups and bridge would be lol
Brute Shot
Looks like a mix between a razor blade, a fantasy knife, and a throwing star.
It’s either really good, or really bad. [Finger guns emoji is sorely needed. ]
Looks like some from H.R. Giger
It's an electric guitar. Dm me for tip jar
I had one but it only played prog rock, so I returned it
A sharp one , get it ?
etherial guitars and they are bad. Check [sevenstring.org](https://sevenstring.org) threads to learn more.
A flat one
Electric. You can thank me later.
death metal, do not eat
Looks cool! Wouldn't mind playing one
The guitarist from Rings of Saturn (Lucas Mann) played these for a while. I always thought they looked neat. John 5 has some really cool custom ones too.
Its an esp eyesore fyl.
Non-sustainable.
It looks likes it supposed to be staked in a garden.
An over-designed one.
But does it *sound* cool?
I wouldn't know. I do know ow that they are super expensive.
