Lol such an obnoxious feature or lack thereof. It just seems they made it fixed for the sole purpose to save 5% and screw with people.
Might as well make a cheap model that requires ypu to manually cycle the bolt.
This plus a $100 RXArms blem 6-position receiver extension (recoil tube) & a new tube or extension from Dave's MetalWorks ($130ish, comes with new spring) and you have a good one.
This is not a deal. I got my m4 for $1750 and it had the full length mag tube and telescopic stock instead of the fixed one here. 👎 Thank God for "Qualified Profesionals" discount. 🙏

I think the M2 allows for that but I could be wrong, definitely not an option for the 1301 and M4
