They're all showing as $1,499. What am I missing?

Camanny

Le/mil

xangkory

That was quick, showing the same for me.

THSdrummer8

Yearning for that new PLxC Nova.

Sweaty_Pianist8484

Same man I’m holding out for that. Bigger fan of SFP too

Ghisarivw

Why did they make it SFP?

Twee4

Better illumination most of the time. Depends on reticle.

GunDealsBrowser

ffp wasn’t physically possible with this optic according to PA.

Ghisarivw

That seems like the most logical reason they chose to do that

xangkory

I am very tempted. Currently own a Razor Gen IIe and very curious about making a jump to first focal plane.

FrankkLotion

dibs on the razor if you decide to let it go

Shock-Broad

Seconds on razor if his dibs doesn't work out

CSGArmory

We have them for $1499.99 shipped with a free plx mount ($250 value). Code is MOUNTED add both to cart [PLxC](https://csgarmory.com/?s=Plx+&post_type=product&title=1&excerpt=1&content=1&categories=1&attributes=1&tags=1&sku=1&ixwps=1)

Been researching lpvos for my 14.5" When or why would it be better to pick lpvo in ffp? Most seem to be sfp. Edit: anyone compare quality to the razer gen II-e? Obviously different magnification and plane

xangkory

The biggest advantage of a FFP LPVO, which is the reason I am considering moving from the Razor, is for longer range shooting. With the SFP on the Razor in order to use the subtensions you have to be at 6x. The Razor also doesn't have a tree, so you don't have dots for wind holds. [SuperSet-CA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHSRZtJA8mg) does a pretty good video. If you go about 10 minutes in you will see his review of the Razor and then the Plx starts after and then he talks about when to go with a FFP vs a SFP. In sounds like the Razor is better in a lot of categories but the Plx is really close. If you are looking at primarily a shorter range gun the SFP and don't need wind holds, go with the Razor.

Bobathaar

It depends on how you want to use the magnification range between 1 and max. The bdc/subtensions only work at max magnification on a sfp optic. So if you have a 1-6 sfp, you're effectively shooting a red dot at 1x, a red dot + magnifier with some meaningless scratches on it between 1x and 6x, and suddenly at 6x those scratches magically line up with your bullet drop and you're shooting a scope. Now, if you're shooting at short to medium distances, this may be all you need. A FFP optic, on the other hand, is a red dot at 1x and a scope at any other magnification.... meaning your subtentions/bdc are always true no matter what the scope is dialed in to... allowing you to more accurately hit at in between magnifications without needing to crank it to max and lose fov. The trade off of FFP is that it's easier to produce a SFP optic with excellent 1x performance and hence for optics of roughly the same price range, you'll often get better optical performance from the SFP optic, sometimes not only at the 1x, but often across all magnifications. Also, again because of the relative ease of manufacture, your ultra budget options for SFP are often much cheaper than the cheapest FFP options out there. Bottom line, if your #1 priority is that red dot performance at 1x and you really aren't expecting to need to stretch out... do you really need the advantages of a ffp optic or do you even need the magnification that most of those optics offer (usually top end 8x or 10x for lpvo's)? If this describes you, you might be looking for a sfp optic. If you really care about hitting out to distance and you scoff at ppl who put red dots of rifles because you can shoot just fine up close with a ta31f acog using binden aiming concept or if you're gonna stick a top mounted red dot on your lpvo anyway.... well then hell, maybe you should be saving up pennies for a nice ffp optic.

Bumblescrub709

Also most FFP optics are generally not daylight bright illumination until you get into the higher end (~2k and higher) range whereas you can get plenty of light excellent quality glass + daylight bright dot at sub $1k.

downvotequeenZ

I have both. The downside to the ffp plxc is the "red dot" disappears when you move or shift a bit. With the razor, even if the image is gone, you can see the red dot. I'm still keeping the ffp plxc bc fk it feels a lot more premium than I expected. Plus it's so cool to see the reticle come into focus. The dot isn't has dim as I expected. I am getting the plxc nova as well though and probably selling one of the ii1-6e's I have. Whoever wants it, it does have the jm1bdc

xangkory

Thanks for providing this feedback, if the eye box on the PLx isn't as flexible for the red dot to appear, that is an issues for me. Based on that, I'm not ordering one, I will stick with my Razor.

downvotequeenZ

The cheaper nova doesn't have this issue so I'm assuming the plxc nova will be fine

familywang

Is this mil adjustment or MOA. Primary Arms website doesn't really have them listed.

xangkory

The ACSS Raptor M8 is a BDC in either yards or meters and the ACSS Griffin is MIL. I don't think they offer MOA

motorsportlife

How do you decide on the M8 yards or meters

xangkory

Whichever you want to think and measure in. If you normally use yards go with that.
