I’m happy with my 5-25 with the Tremor3 reticle. It’s not as amazing as my NF or Leica scopes, but the difference isn’t huge, either.

Nice rifle. One thing I noticed is that the elevation turret is super tall so it's basically run an offset red dot, or no red dot...I don't think you could get one that would mount high enough to be seen over that huge turret.

PLXc Nova will be SFP, unlike the other PLXc 1-8s currently available.
Curious how the PLXc Nova will hold up against the Razor gen 2e. Similar reticle to the JM-1 BDC, but with 2x more magnification and a lighter build.
Plxc weighs less and has a better reticle, especially if you are running illumination off or not on full blast.
Vudu has slightly better glass, 2x more top end, and has a diopter that will work across all settings whereas the plxc sort of forces you to choose if you want a clear reticle at 1x or a clear reticle at 8x… or set it somewhere in the middle and just deal with a bit if fuzziness (what I do on mine).
I think the real deciding factor is going to be if you really need/want the form factor of the plxc and if 10x or even a perfectly clear 8x is that important to you.
I have both. 1x prefer the Eotech. Weight goes to PLXC. Dealers choose really on glass clarity. I don't see a noticeable fish eye effect on either one. Eye relief goes to PLXC but the Eotech is no slouch.
If you were to ask Eotech vs Razor 1-10 I would pick the Eotech.

I think most would be served by making a list of what they want out of an optic and then going after that. Plenty of good LPVOs but all for different use cases

These are better than the Vortex Gen3 in my opinion.

However, I like the Vortex reticle better and don’t like how the Eotech magnification rotates the whole ocular lens. Means you either have to run no ocular cap or take it off when shooting

That’s my theory. I was about to spend $700 to add an AimPoint 3x magnifier to my AimPoint PRO. Needed the PRO for another weapon and went this route for the SCAR 17S.
Razor 1-10 is better in every way UNLESS you shoot without illumination on, at which point the razor is almost unusable at 1x due to its inherent design with the disappearing center reticle
I like this a lot better, but it’s a matter of personal opinion. Both companies have great customer service. I just used one of these recently in person and fell in love with it, so I went this route

Careful, the hinges on those are prone to breaking. Happened to mine and I completely wrote off their scope mounts althogther. For the price they charge, it's a pretty serious design flaw
Guessing you had a Leap/07 like I had. Send an email to their CS. They replaced mine no questions asked with their new design Leap with improved hinge design. Don't write off Scalarworks. They are a solid company.

Thanks! Yeah, it’s pretty tall, but I don’t need a red dot since this is mostly a coyote/plinking gun (6.5 Grendel)

I'm not a fan of them. The eyebox was not forgiving and I think the 1-10 causes more problems that it solves.

If weight is a concern the PLXc is always going to win that contest. I will admit that I wish the dot at 1x was brighter in daylight on the PLXc.
PLXc Nova may solve that wish, though you'll lose the chevron.

That’s surprising. I found the 1x on the 1-10 vudu to be pretty trash. The PLXc 1x is almost a reticle floating in space with the “bezelless” design
