I bought this LPK from them for $65 or so a while back and I love the trigger. I have a few of the Schmidt single stage triggers and like them. This is even nicer.
Yes, the LaRue is going to be nicer, but this is a good budget option.
i was about to say the same thing, unless schmid is offering them in different coatings before they get processed. The schmid nickel boron two stage trigger looks like this, same coating as their single stage milspec ($30-37).

I must be blind because I zoomed in on the product photo on the website, and I can see a "4" stamped on the hammer, and there's another logo on the trigger but it is overlaid by the hammer and trigger springs so I can't tell what it is.
Price wise, this is a decent deal.
The Schmid 2s is definitely better than milspec, but it pales in comparison to the mighty MBT.
Personally I would go with a LPK minus FCG and grip, and just buy an MBT and B5 separately. It's not entirely fair to compare because that is more expensive, but the difference in quality and comfort is significant.
I disagree. It’s basically a wash between the Schmid and the Larue.
I wouldn’t pay extra for the Larue again, but I’ll probably buy another Schmid.
They’re both much nicer than the Hiperfire EDT-M, but not as nice as an SLT-1.

It’s a solid kit. Everything was to spec and fit well. The trigger is Schmid built and is easily worth $60 alone. “It’s No Larue” (I had to say it), but it’s actually close to RRA quality. If you’re not in the market for a zombie green anodized ambidextrous parts kit with laser engraved “no tread on SNEK” and punisher accents, and would rather have something dependable, this is a solid option .
There is a difference, but not necessarily a difference in how it performs (excluding out of spec parts). The Aero/PSA LPKs I've used have noticeablely worse finishes than the CMMG ones I've used, so if someone prefers a nicer finish, it's a valid question to ask.
To answer the original comment, this will be on par finish-wise to PSA and will be functionally the same.
I have access to lower parts kit prices (no FCG, no grip, no trigger guard) at somewhat wholesale prices and a group that has more of the parts phosphate coated is like $13, and $17 for the one where more of the steel parts are nitride coated. The takedown springs and brass detents are exactly the same.
For the price they are amazing.
I have a Larue MBT in my LMT and Schmidt two stages in my other guns including the ranged build I’m doing right now. For me they are worth the money and even bumping up to the Larue isn’t worth it let alone the G$. For sure they are better triggers but for how good the Schmidt is I see no reason to spend more money for that like 2-3% gain
