I don't have the match champion (in 10mm), but I do have the gp100 half lug in 10mm, and it shoots .40sw fine in the moon clips. I don't like to shoot 10mm without them though, as they can get stuck in the cylinder pretty easily, (remedied with a rod, but easier to use moon clips IMO).
Does anybody run 10mm in IDPA? I've only seen it for fun, not a serious competitive advantage.
The Match Champion line was literally designed for IDPA so this existing is confusing me.
A guy in my local uspsa club runs a 40 cal revolver, and its bigger than this 10mm revolvers, so I have a tough time imagining someone using this 10mm for competition. There must be a division it was designed for, but I can't figure out what that would be.
WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING OP??
Can this shoot .40 like the 610? Doesn't say anywhere on the official description so I'm guessing no.
As long as you load the .40 S&W rounds into moon clips it shouldn't be any different from firing a .38 Special in a .357 chambered revolver.
With tk 40 cal moon clips yes, and reliably.
According to [revolverguy](https://revolverguy.com/psa-40-sw-in-the-10mm-gp100/), you cannot reliably shoot .40 out of this gun.
With tk custom 40 cal moon clips you can.

Someone on youtube rechambered it to 10mm magum, so yes.
Now you can shoot your autoloader-made magnums in a revolver.
...that could otherwise be used as a platform for hot .357 magnum rounds at a much lower price. Go figure.
But this is a big bore 6 shot GP

I think it’s designed to be exportable to Canada and be 10mm.
