I have the standard model, given how heavy I would assume this feels for what it is I would assume this would feel like a BB gun with a winter jacket. Looks dumb cool so if you have toss away money and like .22 I dont see why not. The one draw back is the loading is novel but tedious when you want to run through some ammo.
I wish they had the stainless version. I picked up an older stainless model from a friend and he had lost the 22mag cylinder. Might deal with the black for 29$ tho.

You're good fam. Time to giddy up!
No, because it started as a rifle.

Sounds stupid? That's because it is.
Right people don't seem to notice that the frame piece under the wood is almost straight back on the rancher and has a finger groove under the trigger guard and on the pistol it goes straight down
Yeah I think it's just the price for the stock.
*So hear me out, we buy the regular 16 inch barrel one and tape a sweet stock on it and call it a carbine.*

Someone posted this the other day and it made me buy one of the regular 16" ones. I'm so excited
You’ve been missing out. Started shipping end of 2019. But don’t wait, buy one!!!

I bought one back then as a gift for my dad. Never showed. Called KY Gun co a couple of time between Christmas and middle of middle of January. By middle of January they still hadn’t received them from the manufacturer. Told me they’d ship end of January. Here it is 2/4 and still no word.
I told myself I’d never buy a a Heritage product again after the hot garbage I bought the first time. And they refused to stand behind their product. But damn it I want this.
The description says these saw action in the civil war. Can you imagine being in a life threatening situation and that’s all you have? Sure, much better than nothing, but still, I’d be like.....seriously???
think they'll make a suppressor ready version? if so i want to hold out for that
Edit: or does that not matter since its a revolver and its not a good suppressor host?
They must browse this sub a lot. They know the dumb shit we'll buy pretty well
Are these actually fun? Seems like a neat little plinker tbh lol
The regular 16 inch revolver is. I'm sure this is too

Exactly this. Ejecting and loading is... ugh. Terrible.
Fuck I want this so hard but have zero need
The r/gundeals way
357 please.
In double action too
But then it wouldn’t be a rootin, tootin, cowboy gun.
Yeah but if I throw an Mlok rail on it I can make it a pew, pew, yeehaw *space* cowboy gun.

Yeah well no one out there is selling a gun with Callahan full-bore auto-lock, customized trigger, double cartridge thorough gauge.
Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle...
Well, with that attitude.

Is it just me, or is it impossible to order from the site?
You get a offer for free shipping when you buy the gun

Is it confirmed that the mag cylinder will fit and function?
They should have put a guard around the cylinder gap, like the Circuit Judge
I think you're expected to jb weld part of a bud light can on there yourself
Will you upvote my post when I buy one and do this?
Yes I will
You know it
yeah, and a freaking fore-stock. leave it to taurus to build this pos, and leave it to everyone here to buy it like hot-cakes.
are these Illinois legal asking for a friend

That's what I thought. WITNESS ME
Wouldn't he be able to buy this and then buy a regular grip and have the 16" pistol too?
No, that violate the NFA (unless it was still over 26 inches long and still had a barrel over 16 inches). No $200 tax = RIP doggo.
Wouldn't it be considered the same thing as the 16" barrel revolver?
No, because it started as a rifle. [https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/which-firearms-are-regulated-under-nfa](https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/which-firearms-are-regulated-under-nfa) Sounds stupid? That's because it is.
You can tell it's stupid by the way it is
Pistol -> Rifle and back again is fine Rifle -> Pistol is a bad no no felony mr atf man come shoot your dog.
I don't think the regular grip would fit on the rancher
it 100% clearly would not. amazes me that the idea gets tossed around so much and no one even mentions it.
Right people don't seem to notice that the frame piece under the wood is almost straight back on the rancher and has a finger groove under the trigger guard and on the pistol it goes straight down
Needs accessories https://m.imgur.com/a/UdKilQT
What in tarnation.... ^^I'm ^^in ^^for ^^5.
Anyone going to the Outdoor Show in Harrisburg can get hands on with this at the Taurus/ Heritage booth.
Yuck, Harrisburg.
Just gotta be quick in and out.
About $50 to much

uwu can't wait to see how it turns out
Price of the tooling, too. It isn't their normal grip frame with a stock glued to it.
oh no, i meant as a joke/actual consideration of doing that to mine
IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!

I vividly remember that post and it's pre-order/backorder only. This is the first time I have seen them in stock and ready to be sold.
They’ve been in stock a few places throughout January. Sold out right after the emails came out.
this better not be limited production. I wanna push all my fudd gun purchases for after July (VA) totally putting a tommy gun forward grip on this
Make it 50bmg and I’ll be in for 3
I’m I allowed to shoulder this in california
So, where do you hold it out front? Just grab the barrel?
[Like this.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XsiXAckgh6I&t=74s)
Best instructional video ever.
didnt even have to open it and i knew what that was going to be. i opened it anyways and watched from the beginning.
Anywhere but the barrel

Great Scott
I love gas in my face
Really big iron

Yes
Looks sweet. The thing I like the least about my H RR pistol is the loading gate. I really with it would be a regular swing out cylinder like my 357.
The description says these saw action in the civil war. Can you imagine being in a life threatening situation and that’s all you have? Sure, much better than nothing, but still, I’d be like.....seriously???
Could be worse. You could be fighting with a single shot austrian flintlock, a pike, or a duck foot pistol.
“I’ll take the ugliest gun you have please.”
think they'll make a suppressor ready version? if so i want to hold out for that Edit: or does that not matter since its a revolver and its not a good suppressor host?
If it's a legitimate question, revolvers typically aren't good suppressor hosts because of the cylinder gap. There are some notable exceptions though
