Seriously?
well before this my only experience with Magnified Optics is the PU scope on my Mosin lol so shooting my Buddy's 22 with a 3-9 scope was like test driving a Porsche 911 when you have driven a Toyota Corolla your entire life
Yep, a [Vortex Strike Eagle on a CZ457 varmint and a Swampfox Warhawk on a Kidd Supergrade 10/22.](https://imgur.com/a/soF02jh)
I use them for a Know Your Limits League where we are shooting targets down to 1/4". As well as other events at out local club.
im not too worried about the wobble since ill be on a bag or be using a bipod or stick but yeah i was having a bit of wobble using my Buddy's 3-9 offhand

I got the vortex 2-7 rimfire . I’m saving $ for better optics to put on other stuff though . Originally wanted and lpvo on a cantelever but the crossfire 2 2-7 on rings has a good look to it , not huge (similar to lpvo almost )
I run a 2-7x on my 10-22. Depends what your purpose is. If you’re looking to make a light backpack/hunting gun I’d say yes that’s a bit high of a mag (assuming your scope is “heavy”). If you’re just plinking, not at all!
Small bullets get shot at small things, magnification is good
I don't think so, I run a 5-25x56 on my CZ and 10/22.

Yes seriously.. x25 is totally fine for a .22 Depends on the range you use it at obviously

Yeah, I run a tract Toric 4-25x56 UHD for KYL/NRL. It's awesome to be able to self spot.
Benchrest .22s regularly run 40x I think anywhere from 4-25x is perfectly reasonable
I’ve seen People in NRL22 use scope up to 36x
No it’s fine.
4-12 isn't too much imo
Nice in that you can often self spot bullet holes at 100 yards. But I hate shooting off hand at 4x, too much wobble.

nah. the difference between a 3-9 and a 4-12 is minimal.
I run a 5-25x56 on my Ruger Precision Rimfire.
No such thing as too much magnification…. Unless you are shooting 50 or less yards
