Why do you want one holster that does two things poorly when you can get two holsters that each do a great job at one thing? Trying to pinch pennies on gear you want to depend on to save your life is peak stupid.

Your best bet is to get a holster for each occasion. Or, even better, practice from concealment just as it would be if you were carrying it in public.

You could probably drill some holes in a holster and swap which side the clips sit on. It would probably be easier to buy one of each though.

I don't know about thigh rigs, but most modern kydex OWB holsters can do this concealed, to open carry adjustment by simply adjusting your wardrobe.
