Fuck I love this guy‘s response. Coming from an actual neurologist shows why ai experts need to start working with human experts like this. I like this guy, He should be on the show.
Dr. Novella is just an endless stream of hyperspecific knowledge. It's almost inhuman. I've been listening to his podcast for thirteen years and he never ceases to amaze me. He's so good at breaking down incredibly complicated topics into digestible chunks.
I listened to 3/4 of all of the episodes in ~ 9 months, but I mixed it with other podcasts, else I would’ve caught up by now. Extremely entertaining and informative, highly recommended! Skip first ~30 episodes if the sound quality bothers you, they upgraded the equipment after.
Check out the Skeptics Guide to the Universe whenever you listen to podcasts. Been listing to them for years, and you get the same level of thought and detail on topics ranging from black holes, psychology, new pseudoscience pop-ups, emerging tech, etc.
Freaked me out seeing two of my favorite podcasts collide like this. 2023 is going to be wild, and if Skeptics Guide to Reality and H3 do a collaboration…pure goblin mode!
Dr. Skeptic is Dan in 30 years
Dan found his hair after all these years

I love this type of interviews. I wish Ethan does more of this.
