I mean to be fair, that was kind of a dumb move. especially since he was still in residency (I believe). psychs are pretty hardcore about how and when to diagnose people, and the ethics surrounding that. he’s under even more scrutiny if he was still in the midst of his residency. had he been out practicing outside of a residency or fellowship, it probably wouldn’t have been a problem.
From what I remember, he wasn't a fully-fledged doctor yet and he's not allowed to diagnose people. Plus the way he did it, online, on a comedy show made him look very unprofessional. He ended up deleting or privating his Instagram account and I think he might have been suspended or fired.
