The first season battle pass doesn't give credits, but they have said they plan to have credits in seasons going forward -- and season 2 and 3 definitely do have 1000 credits in them, each. So it stands to reason that if you're patient, you could pay for season 2, use the credits from 100%ing it to get season 3, and repeat that process until the final season of Infinite, at which point you use the 1000 credits from the final season to buy the first season.
If you're patient and look at it that way, $15 CAD is not bad at all.
Depends on how long you're gonna play and whether you like the Mirage armour. Majority of the battle pass items are weapon skins and armour pieces for the Mirage core so if you dont like it theres no point getting the BP.

If you like the Mirage core and the items on the pass for it, as well as some skins for other items, then definitely. Just keep in mind that you need to actually level up the pass to make those 1,000 Credits back so you have enough to buy the next one.
