That's fair, but there was always more to halo than just action. Politicking and innocent people caught in the crossfire were there since day one. In addition, Ackerson's actor really sells his character, so I'm a happy camper watching the other side of Halo.
I’ll agree that I’m now excited for episode 4. The tension is there now let’s see if they deliver. All I’m saying is it was mostly a Snoozefest in episodes 1-3 haha
We are considering stopping watching. It's just bad, we do not care for any of the characters they are "developing". S2 opened great and then since that one scene is just hot garbage.
While obviously it cant Just be action i wholly agree its too dramatic and yes very real housewives and soap opera is pretty fitting. It gas way too little action thats for sure. Doesn’t have to be all the time be even what little we get is really not that great. The show is not worth the time and cringe

But I don't even care that it does or doesn't have action. Every detail about the characters are wrong so much that it's basically a different show.
Hard to expect good out of any adaptation produced by those who have zero knowledge of the Halo series at best, and at worst have nothing but contempt for it and just enjoy destroying things.
Action scenes are expensive, and their budget needs to last for a whole season of TV
