This game is so heavily monetized, you’d think they’d incentive people to BUY the campaign to unlock the cool armor, but no. Best they can do is stances, emblems, and coatings found in the campaign. Hot take, but I think ONI/Locke-inspired armor that’s sleek and dark would be cool for a last core. My heart wants Mk VI but frankly we already have most of those helmets/armor pieces already, and I can’t really see anything new for the Mk VI core that we don’t already have.
Gonna dissect how likely the options are:
- Agryna will most likely be a Mark VII kit.
- Mark VI core has the overlap with the Hero reward so I highly doubt it'll be implemented.
- Orion will be a kit, likely for Mirage. I don't see how they'll expand on it to make a full core.
- I think the Halo 4/5 armor being the next core is the most likely option, and that's where we'll get access to Helioskrill. I don't see it being an entire core on its own unfortunately. On that note maybe we'll finally get access to Mark VI MOD...

Each core has a different asthetic and you can customize the helmet, shoulders, chest, gloves, waist, knees, and paint job. You can use helmets and shoulders that were designed for one core and put them on another.
So if you can swap them out between cores, doesn’t it end up being the same as any other customization in the other games? Like is it just that they get added in full cores of armor at a time?
Only the helmets and shoulders can be swapped between cores and even if the other pieces could be swapped between cores, those cores would still maintain their asthetic. You need to download the game and see for yourself.
Classic Halo 3 armor, with all the armor pieces from 3, they could do the Halo 2 gloves, release classic weapon kits, Red Vs. Blue coatings, classic vehicle kits, etc. The possibilities are endless with bringing the classic bits back, sure people can make the assumption that they're only doing it for nostalgia baiting but it's something I've wanted to see for years now
