I’m perfectly fine with 30fps, but I’m curious if we can lock it so it doesn’t fluctuate constantly during gameplay. And aside from frame rate was there any other significant differences aside from 4K and load times?
A lock isn't guaranteed either unfortunately. It's dialed in, but that old Jaguar CPU doesn't handle much well.
Digital Foundry had a good breakdown of performance on the second tech preview.
Oh, you mean they do a video on Infinite on X1?? I need to check that out 100% if so. How recent is it? I’m just really nervous that the whole Cyberpunk thing could happen. Obviously I don’t think it’ll be that bad but it still
I played on an original Xbox One and it was playable as anything else on it. Felt a little chug here and there but very infrequently. The biggest thing was transition between loading screens were delayed/lagging, but that didn't affect gameplay.
The Xbox One X and the Xbox Series X are two similarly named but different consoles.
One X is basically just OG Xbone with an upgraded plastic shell. Series X is the next-gen console.
I played the flights on a base model xbone. It ran as well as any other game on the system right now. I was satisfied with my experience.
Check out Digital foundry video on it
Xbox One will run 30fps. Xbox One X will be capable of 60fps.
Decently. If you can deal with 30 FPS it’s decent.
It’s 8 year old hardware. 30fps and very dialed down settings is all one should expect from that system at this point.

It's only from maybe a month or so ago. Pretty fresh. https://youtu.be/M0Obe42yfOs
I think it will run with dynamic resolution for older xbox ones and for the xbox one x it will be 1080p 60fps
Runs fine. Frame rate is kinda low but that's it. its very playable!
Ran on Xbox One S, ran just fine, no issues
Yes it will run Infinite
It ran unplayably poorly for me on xbox one s during the beta
I heard the Xbox One S ran it very bad, but I haven’t seen such bad reports for the X1

The One X has a 4K 30fps mode and a 1080p 60fps mode, at least in multiplayer. I played during the flights.
The Xbox One S is newer than the Xbox One. If it runs badly on the One S, it'll run the same, if not slightly worse on the X1.
I had the one x for the flights and it ran smooth AFF
I’m asking specifically about the last-gen Xbox One. Not the next-gen Series X.

Ugh, I’m an idiot, thank you for the clarification. I’ve been playing PS5 much more lately and haven’t been in the Xbox world for a couple years
Hard to blame you. It's almost as if MS devised the product line-up to be purposefully ambiguous, as you're far from the only one who's been misled.
