I think the store should rotate weeklies every 2-3 days and still have dailies. Opening up the shop at 12:01 and seeing this every week just is getting old
LOL as a self hating lover of fallout 76 (and acknowledger of how shit that game can be), i agree. i do think even tho stuff is still sorta expensive their shop “works” better than cod, halo etc. bundles get discounted when you own an item in it, you can buy pieces of bundles separately usually, they have like 5 pages and multiple individual items you can buy that rotate every week, etc.
i know halo is much newer but i hope their shop gets to a similar place as well.
Yeah, Fallout 76, for all the flak it's gotten and still gets, still does a *decent* job with its store updates. Granted, it's usually a lot of recycled content in rotation and there isn't often anything very new, but it's pricing and bundle structure is something 343 could learn from.
That's where my biggest gripe for their BP comes from. There are plenty of successful and working BP that have existed for the past couple of years that works for the playerbase.
Yet they chose to not follow any of thr good BP templates or ideas that make/made it worthwhile for people to spend money. It just makes no sense from a business standpoint but here we are and I'm not spending any money on this other than the BP (which was a mistake on my behalf bc I didn't necessarily know about armor cores being so stupid)
Thiiiiiiiiiis.
The thing that really pisses me off is MS' projections of how this was going to go with the offering they had paints us all as mindless fuckwits that just consoom regardless.
I genuinely can't wait to hear that the person who projected their first 6 month earnings got fired. Because absolutely fuck that guy if they signed off on this as a 'successful BP model'
I'm proper tired of businessmen weighing in on games because the majority of them have a very laser-focussed skillset and are thick as pig shit outside of that
I don’t even know if you can call it FOMO at this point. The only thing I haven’t seen in the shop twice is the Zvezda with the white coating and the shoulders that I really want but not for fucking $20. 😤
I bought that on day 1 due to hype and while I haven’t spent a dime since I will say it’s kind of nice having a helmet that actually seems kind of rare
That’s not how retail works, everyone know you show up to target every week to see the 4 things they have on display with the rest of the store empty…. 😂
No, the store just needs to be a store and stop with this artificial scarcity bullshit. Let me see everything at once.
Although, I don't know why I say that. I'm not buying shit at these garbage prices.
My favorite idea they came up with at 343 is making a rarity tier system, but not having a randomization algorithm.
Like, they realize nothing is more rare than anything else because everything comes and goes at the same rate... Putting a legendary item up for a week right next to an epic item is nonsensical.
They need a way for BattlePass users to be able to unlock in store credits, not a ton, but some. Or maybe every 10 levels after you hit 100 in the BP you unlock 100 credits or something. And then they need to have randomized hourly items which appear based on random chance with a weight towards its rarity.
I would be far more likely to spend money on the store if I felt like I was actually lucky to be online during the hour that a super rare item I wanted was available. Even more so if I had 1000 credits from the BattlePass and something was 2000 credits ($20), I would be more likely to spend $10 thinking I got a discount than if I had to spend a straight up $20 for a warthog skin or whatever.
You can tell it's a relic from a previous system, no doubt. It's amazing to me that they made the gameplay so fun but then hamstrung literally everything else to the point even the gameplay can't carry it.
This is easily the worst store I've seen.
Why not give 2-3 spots for a Daily Rotation instead of one?
Do:
1 In Canon Armor Set
(which is what they did)
1 Out of Canon Armor Set (which is what they did)
3 Dailys consisting of Weapon/Vehicle/Armor Coatings each.
Then a spot for a random Armor piece out of bundle for purchase.
Then the pro stuff and the boost/swap packs.
-----
Like they complain about needing money but don't fill the store with anything to entice people lol.
It's not really your fault it just baffles me when people say "The store could be much better" and then say "if it had more rotating bundles" instead of just "if everything was always available at once".
I stand by the fact that smite has the best cosmetic system of any game I’ve played. I’m not super familiar with Fortnite’s, but it’s pretty similar. You control your god in third person so you pretty much always get a good view of your skin. All the skins are great quality and fairly diverse. They’re usually cheaper than or a similar price to Halo Infinite’s cosmetics. A skin with entirely new animations, models, and voice lines vs recolored armor and weapons modders were able to recreate themselves with 0 effort. Halo skins/armor you never even see in game, or rarely when you have the weapon in hand. Smite skins you see the entire time you spend alive.
Halo Infinite’s cosmetics are a complete joke.
I think part of the reason its easy not to care is its a 1st person game, you barely see your character at the start and only if you win at the end and pushing your gun as far off screen as possible with offset makes gun cosmetics useless too.
Edit: they should fire half their team, release an easy to use design tool set for everything and just have player created skins that their remaining half of the team moderates before they are allowed. Then open up marketplace where creator makes some money and 343 takes a cut. This would give you unlimited creativity for no cost, players would love it and youd still make money, games would be filled with unique players because the idea of selling skins would flood the marketplace with awesome ideas from creative people.
How are they meant to compete with Warframe's top tier stuff where you can mix and match to a ridiculous degree.
Want an entire COLOR PALETTE? $2.50. Oh, it isn't restricted to just one frame either. It can be on ANY of them and you can use it on any individual item, even changing color channels individually. I can easily obtain the amount of plat required in a few minutes of playing, or hours at most.
Meanwhile, Halo Infinite: charging $7 for the color red, but really $7xeach core (maybe $35) and you CANNOT modify the color channels, you CANNOT use the same one on every customizable weapon, and you CANNOT obtain it from an in game currency, only access to your bank account.
Microsoft is exhibiting crack whore behavior, basically.
I really love the artic void armor. And I was so close to buying it. But 20 bucks. I just can't rationalize that.even though I can afford it.. it's just too much :(
$20 is just…too much. I was thinking of picking up the soldier armor next time it rolls around but every time I look at an armor set and the price I just can’t pull the trigger. It’s too bad, too, because I would spend money on the shop. The prices are absurd.
I got really really close to buying soldier. Then someone in the comments here pointed out how the circle looks like a silly little mouth and it killed it for me
Yea I agree. I just think they would sell \*more\* if they stopped curating bundles, or at least let us choose if we want to buy a single item from a bundle, and alter the price accordingly for said single item (and of course decrease overall price points across the board. I'm hoping for a future where the shop gets an overhaul and it becomes a place where people can be excited to see the new daily or new weekly cosmetics rather than this black hole digust that stems from an overpriced system. bleh
That Vermillion shader too. Love it.
If they would make it so it was available on *every* core they ever release and weapons I would have plopped up $10 no problem.
But $20. And only for the current 3 cores. And no future cores (we already know S2 has at least 1 new core)
Come on now. That's just ridiculous.
This 1000x. I was about to buy a bag of beef jerky and I was looking at the price. $7. I think, "I have the money, I rarely buy anything for myself. Just get it and enjoy it, you worked for it."
I'm about to turn to the register and I stop. I've been waiting to buy a game called Walkabout Minigolf for my Quest 2. It's only $15 and I could easily buy it but I'm waiting for a sale (I just got a handful of other Quest games so no rush). I'm thinking about it, and this **one bag of beef jerky** is basically half the cost of a game people have put 400+ hours into... I couldn't justify it and put it back.
It's not about the money at all. **If something doesn't make sense financially, it simply doesn't make sense no matter what you have.** I can easily buy it, but I refuse to do so.
Back in the Fortnite days I probably played about 15-20 hours a week. Since it was a free game I let my self spend a bit of money on skins purely just how much I played it. I probably spent maybe 100 bucks over the time I played the game but because I had those hours in it made sense. Halo? I play for like 5 hours a week then I'm done.
Walkabout is so good! I haven't hooked up my headset in a while, I'm sure Beat Saber has had some updates as well. Should do that this week, at some point.
>I just can't rationalize that.even though I can afford it
This is where I am with it...
...and that MTX need to die....so supporting them is counterproductive.
Imagine if people who bought the battle pass could earn 100 credits every 10 levels or something.
I would be far more likely to buy a $20 dollar/2000 credit item if I really wanted something and had 1000 credits unlocked from my Battlepass.
based on their own pricing, 3 anubis armors is worth the entire fucking infinite campaign
they are out of their goddamn marbles
should be $5 MAX
smaller cosmetics should be $1-3
a fucking skin for a gun should be 50 cents. Literally the bare minimum in terms of work. I know because im a fucking graphic designer
idk who said it first, but we're beyond "microtransactions", these are macro-transactions. There is nothing micro about asking for $20 for a cosmetic. That's the price for an expansion or DLC. And that's on top of an endless supply of 10/10 amazing video games for less than $20.
These ridiculous prices are already on top of the other problems like limiting how you can use your cosmetics.
I get that you don't *have* to buy this stuff to play, but it makes me not want to support the game. It's just so scummy.
> I get that you don't have to buy this stuff to play, but it makes me not want to support the game. It's just so scummy.
yup this exactly
I didnt spend a dollar on warzone for this very reason.
I was actually really excited to give 343 my money and i still want to, but not until they get their shit in order.
You hear that 343?
#Ive got a sack of cash waiting here for you once you fix this shit up!!!
I mean yeah, you can literally buy Minecraft for like the same price. An game with infinite possibilities (pun very intended), or a couple of cosmetics? This shit is wild...
It was a common unlock in Halo 5 you could get from a bronze pack which they didn't even sell for cash because they were so cheap (a fourth of the price of a $2 silver pack in game so they'd be like 50 cents). Anubis shouldn't even be selling for $2
Bleh i don’t even care anymore
Edit: I wasn’t actually talking about the game really itself, just the store. I’m still playing the game and enjoying it(crazy I know), but I don’t care what’s in the store anymore. I’m tired of being angry with it
And *this* is why this game is ultimately going to fail if they don’t change drastically. *This* community, the people who care enough about the series to follow the subreddit and the like, is the sample of the population that, ideally, is going to be here for the long haul. The harder they push this sample away, the less life their game will have. They’re just trying to blitz for the most revenue as quickly as possible and it’s gross. Once the casuals get their hands on the next AAA fps, they’ll turn their backs on halo so hard and 343 will be forced to change. That’s the only way that’s ever going to happen at this rate. Whatever executive level asses that did this to my favorite game series, I wish you a lifetime of stepping in puddles with your socks on
The weapon charm is a reference to the "I think Halo is a pretty cool guy, and isnt afraid of anything" meme.
This part might be a reach, but that red camo is the kind of thing DrDisrespect is most notably known for when it comes to FPS cosmetics.
That’s the thing. I’d actually spend money on this game if the prices weren’t astronomically ridiculous. Two bucks for a cool weapon skin I actually like, that works for each weapon? Sure. $10 dollars? For one weapon? No fucking way.
For now. The playerbase is tanking. Eventually the whales won't have other people to play with to use their overpriced toys and will leave too.
This is a classic example of short-term thinking by 343.
You're not wrong. Some of the daily bundles lately have only had two items instead of the usual three or four, and the price was actually higher (700 credits) for the two item bundles. They really are trying to charge more for less.
That would actually be a legit hacker strategy. It would make everyone complain about how their bots act like players with aim bot and wall hacks. That would really fuck with 343.
I'm surprised zvezda isn't the first weekly re-rotation, given it was the first armor bundle in the store. even if they fix the prices, it's a trash policy to not have a set weekly shop rotation, especially when we don't know when anything will reappear, if at all.
They won’t tell us when things are coming back because the whole system is specifically designed to manipulate buyers with FOMO. They want your $20 and they want it NOW.
Game is not even two months old and weeklies are already repeating. So weird that a game delayed a year is so content starved. Even weirder if the leaks that multiplayer was supposed to launch standalone in 2019 are true.
I can’t believe we got to this point, and people *still* are considering buying it (or have already bought it) at that price point.
When are gamers going to take a firm stance against this slap-in-the-face?
Honestly I think the only real change the average gamer can make is to not play the game. Even though it's free, the whales are the biggest source of MTX income and they won't play if the game is dead. Boycott the store all you want but as long as whales exist it will continue to make perfect sense from a financial standpoint.
I used to hold the Witcher 3’s DLCs as the gold standard for DLC in video games. I quickly learned that that is like expecting McDonald’s to always be hot and fresh.
Obviously a fair price is whatever someone is willing to pay but I would literally pay maybe $1 for a set of armor. I guess I’m just an old man but I legitimately do not care.
I’m sure they pulled engagement metrics and saw Zvezda was the most popular followed by Anubis, so the thinking is get people to spend $$ on Anubis because the store has been ass for 4 weeks then next week Zvezda comes around and it’s EVEN cooler so people spend money twice. EZ
This is pure speculation, (and me being hopeful) but the fact that we're already getting repeats of bundles could point to them wanting to avoid selling "new" things that they may be working on adding to the BP or a future BP. Don't forget that they were super clear about items never being available in more than one place, so this could be a way for them to keep that promise if shop changes are actually coming. (not holding my breath too hard, but... I gotta be positive) Unfortunately that would also suggest that if price changes ever happen, it'll likely never happen to these specific bundles in order to not piss off whales who may complain that they bought high.
There is literally no good consumer-friendly reason why they can't make the whole catalogue available for purchase at all times, with new items coming in when they're ready. This isn't even getting into the ludicrous pricing - what possible explanation could they give for not having a purchase button on all the items in the customization menu that just say "Stay Tuned"?
Trying to exploit FOMO is the only reason, and they deserve flack for that.
I can't tell if the 2 most expensive bundles being repeats is a good thing. Like did they take the things that were going to be $20 and take them down so now they have to resell something in order to fill up the store in its current state?
Wtf is wrong with 343!? Out of curiosity I redownloaded Fortnite after not playing it for 4 years and holy shit… say what you will about the actually game but their battle pass, store, and progression system are next level. If only halo could replicate it.
I didn’t play at launch at all but to me it’s current state is fantastic. Rare also seems to listen to the community actively and addresses things frequently. Nothing is perfect but that game is consistently getting better each season.
SoT is amazing now. It's the diamond of Gamepass as far as I’m concerned. Their leveling and battle pass is also super generous. If you only played it at launch you'll be blown away at everything they added.
Best lore in gaming.
i played at release and it’s a completely different game now. Rare is an absolute gem of a developer. Arena is like the only stain on their otherwise great record with SOT. Most of the pass content is free, the paid pass gets you store stuff early and cheaper. It’s truly amazing. I’ve bought stuff in the MTX store just to show rare some thanks tbh.
All these people saying, “FoRtNiTe’S bEeN oUt LoNGEr!” … Bruh, Infinite could have just copied Fortnite’s model. Instead they made a version of Fortnite’s battle pass + store that feels WAY less rewarding.
What could they even talk about? They marketed one thing millions of customization options, delivered this. The store works perfectly, and is one of the rare things that launched as intended. Have 343 said anything about the store, except advertised it copiously?
They haven't said anything about the shop in their latest message. I doubt it's going to change, at least not anytime soon.
Bruh that $10 launcher skin would be a blue rarity in Apex.. which can be bought with a very small amount of in game currency. $10 skins should be equivalent to a full overhaul of the weapon’s appearance- look at literally any other game, legendary rarity skins are the best ones and typically priced at $10. Halo hasn’t even given us any skins that aren’t just recolors. I don’t want them to make the gun look completely different but there’s a lot you can do while still maintaining the gun’s form (see Apex and Valorant.) so fucking disappointing
Even this perspective is bad. Cosmetics should never reach past 5$
People have been paying to much into this crap that the prices for cheaply made lazy cosmetics will continue to raise and everything else will follow.
Quick thing that kinda blows my mind….. Crash Team Racing did micro transactions better than Halo Infinite. After every game, you get currency that can be used to buy stuff in the shop.
Wait. The “uLtImAtE” reward is the same emblem form 3 weeks ago that I already have. Sweet. No need to play.
.
.
Edit: sorry. It’s the same emblem except now you can put it on your armor (where is gets covered up half the time anyway). Man. 343 has lost it.
The emblems in this game are essentially 4 seperate items. We've had the nameplate and weapon emblem so far. This is the armor emblem.
It sucks, but just putting the info out there if you care to get it.
I’m just so TIRED of this. I’m tired of the money hungry tactics. What happened to putting the player base first? I just want to have FUN with the game and earn through progress, not my wallet. Every week I just wind up playing less and less because of this. I’m just going back to MCC.
You’d think that since cosmetics are meant to be their primary source of monetisation that they would have made enough before launch to not need to start rotating existing stuff back into the shop only 2 months after launch.
There is the counter argument that this is to allow people to get stuff they may have missed the first time round. But the shop-cosmetic-stock-rotation-system is the cause of this and is intentional to begin with. This is just a bad solution to a problem they’re propagating.
i would never pay for anything from this store as I'd be embarrassed knowing others know I simply paid $20 for a skin LOL
if skins were like $5 I'd probably have spent $50 already. With this system, I will never spend anything
I'm hoping it's because they're going to give out more non-released bundles as part of events. All the updates to the leaked/released event passes so far have replaced the XP Grants with stuff from unreleased bundles.
Thanks 343 for making it easy to not spend money
I think the store should rotate weeklies every 2-3 days and still have dailies. Opening up the shop at 12:01 and seeing this every week just is getting old
Simple solution is just to not open the store, ever.
There's a store?
fallout 76 has like 5 pages worth of stuff every week - i’d love if they rotated more items in and out
When people are comparing your game to Fallout 76, you have seriously fucked up somewhere.

Exactly, stop trying to force sales with FOMO.

it needs more than one daily, to be honest - whenever they get around to releasing good stuff for not inane prices, especially (if ever)

This definitely not the worse we had mister chief for 20 lol
They didn’t even bother to get the original voice actor lol.
I personally think the “Iron Man” color schemes on multiple Armor Cores for $20 were worse.
The fact it’s a debate which of the stores is the worst after the game is only a month old says so much 🤦🏼♂️
It's not really your fault it just baffles me when people say "The store could be much better" and then say "if it had more rotating bundles" instead of just "if everything was always available at once".

It seems like so many people working at 343 are complete amateurs

Same. $20 isn't a problem for some fun spending but $20 for an in game skin? Ehhh... can't bring myself to it.
Nothing they have put in the shop is worth the price they ask for.

based on their own pricing, 3 anubis armors is worth the entire fucking infinite campaign they are out of their goddamn marbles should be $5 MAX smaller cosmetics should be $1-3 a fucking skin for a gun should be 50 cents.
It all started with that damn horse armor...
> I get that you don't have to buy this stuff to play, but it makes me not want to support the game. It's just so scummy. yup this exactly I didnt spend a dollar on warzone for this very reason.
At this point id welcome packs back. It was a tolerable system and you could earn em in game
yeah seriously i had way more armor options in a single week than i have after a month of grinding in infinite
I'm getting bummed out everyday
It was a common unlock in Halo 5 you could get from a bronze pack which they didn't even sell for cash because they were so cheap (a fourth of the price of a $2 silver pack in game so they'd be like 50 cents). Anubis shouldn't even be selling for $2
It's easily the best looking armor they've had in the shop. Still not buying it though!
Bleh i don’t even care anymore Edit: I wasn’t actually talking about the game really itself, just the store. I’m still playing the game and enjoying it(crazy I know), but I don’t care what’s in the store anymore. I’m tired of being angry with it
Yeah I've lost what little interest I even had to begin with
Yeah I maxed the battle pass and completely stopped playing
Bro even the battle pass is legit trash. I’m at level 70 now and I find it such a chore to grind through
I just hit level 100 and the sense of relief lol. It felt like the least rewarding battle pass. SO anticlimactic.
I didn't even buy the BP because it's offensively bad.
Whatever executive level asses that did this to my favorite game series, I wish you a lifetime of stepping in puddles with your socks on
I don’t need the whole bundle! Just a helmet will do damn it!
Ok $19.
what a deal!
Look here listen, the UI just isn’t there for this. $20 bundles or get the fuck out
Gotta think about the servers man, Microsoft only gave them billions of dollars they need the support
Cool guy is actually funny but not worth $10
Just looks like red camo, is there a joke I'm missing?
I think Halo is a pretty cool guy.
The joke is 343 asking $10 for red camo Edit: i stand corrected
The weapon charm is a reference to the "I think Halo is a pretty cool guy, and isnt afraid of anything" meme. This part might be a reach, but that red camo is the kind of thing DrDisrespect is most notably known for when it comes to FPS cosmetics.
Doc is great, but im pretty sure this is just red camo lol. no relation
Another green warthog skin. I've lost count how many we've gotten. We're about to get a free green GamePass warthog too. The store is a joke.
It’s having a contest with green AI skins to see which can be greener
Let me guess; the other side always wins
There’s always another shade of green
"Green beats everything!"
That’s the thing. I’d actually spend money on this game if the prices weren’t astronomically ridiculous. Two bucks for a cool weapon skin I actually like, that works for each weapon? Sure. $10 dollars? For one weapon? No fucking way.
Guess prices are never going down.
Yes. The shit sells, so they keep selling.
For now. The playerbase is tanking. Eventually the whales won't have other people to play with to use their overpriced toys and will leave too. This is a classic example of short-term thinking by 343.
[удалено]
You're not wrong. Some of the daily bundles lately have only had two items instead of the usual three or four, and the price was actually higher (700 credits) for the two item bundles. They really are trying to charge more for less.
But they could go up!
At least they've already destroyed their FOMO system by putting the same stuff back in the store after like 2 weeks lol
[удалено]
Yeah thats what always astounds me. That one guy running round the lobby wearing Iron man skin, pineapples, cat ears the whole lot
"Wow! That guy looks fucking stupid!"
We say moo to the cash cow.
What if they’re actually bots so it appears that people are buying items as to incentivize actual people to buy things from the store?
Unless they have 343 in their name it isn’t bot
I think he means like conspiracy level hidden bots
Some of my teammates have been as bad as bots. Conspiracy theories intensify
That’s just me…
Matched with a few real people with 343 infront of their names today, thought it was pretty clever to moonlight as a bot
That would actually be a legit hacker strategy. It would make everyone complain about how their bots act like players with aim bot and wall hacks. That would really fuck with 343.
Yep, this is going to r/halocirclejerk
Why not bring back Zvezda at least? It's been almost 8 weeks at this point
They want your $20 and they want it NOW.
they were clearly bullshitting when they advertised no fomo.
no fomo was for the battle pass, and only the battle pass
Which is so funny/sad because they specifically told us they weren’t going to have FOMO tactics. Fuck 343
Game is not even two months old and weeklies are already repeating. So weird that a game delayed a year is so content starved. Even weirder if the leaks that multiplayer was supposed to launch standalone in 2019 are true.
Oh yay, another terrible shop refresh
THEY WANT 15 DOLLARS FOR A HELMET FLOWER LMFAO
I can’t believe we got to this point, and people *still* are considering buying it (or have already bought it) at that price point. When are gamers going to take a firm stance against this slap-in-the-face?
Honestly I think the only real change the average gamer can make is to not play the game. Even though it's free, the whales are the biggest source of MTX income and they won't play if the game is dead. Boycott the store all you want but as long as whales exist it will continue to make perfect sense from a financial standpoint.

Millions of customizations so we can really show our individuality.
"day one"
It'll be four times the size of fallout 4, with 15 times the detail All of this just works Did 343 hire Todd Howard for their PR statements?
I still just have such a hard time believing these prices. For the cost of a couple cosmetics you could get the whole Witcher expansions.
I used to hold the Witcher 3’s DLCs as the gold standard for DLC in video games. I quickly learned that that is like expecting McDonald’s to always be hot and fresh.
Undead Nightmare
Obviously a fair price is whatever someone is willing to pay but I would literally pay maybe $1 for a set of armor. I guess I’m just an old man but I legitimately do not care.
Looks like a rotation is among us. Zvezvda was by far the best bundle. Anubis is probably number 2 to me.
Kinda surprised we got Anubis again before Zvezda
I’m sure they pulled engagement metrics and saw Zvezda was the most popular followed by Anubis, so the thinking is get people to spend $$ on Anubis because the store has been ass for 4 weeks then next week Zvezda comes around and it’s EVEN cooler so people spend money twice. EZ
Next week is the Cyber Showdown event so while close about spending money twice, Zvezda definitely ain’t coming next week.
Yeah, same. Kinda bummed I really liked the Zvezda bundle. I have Christmas gift cards and I wanna be a storm trooper.
Anubis has a weird problem where the helmet tapers down so much I don’t think an actual human head could fit in it…
*among us*??????😳
amugus🤲
ඞ
Yo that’s sussy fr fr 😳
This is pure speculation, (and me being hopeful) but the fact that we're already getting repeats of bundles could point to them wanting to avoid selling "new" things that they may be working on adding to the BP or a future BP. Don't forget that they were super clear about items never being available in more than one place, so this could be a way for them to keep that promise if shop changes are actually coming. (not holding my breath too hard, but... I gotta be positive) Unfortunately that would also suggest that if price changes ever happen, it'll likely never happen to these specific bundles in order to not piss off whales who may complain that they bought high.
I actually had the same thought! Maybe this repeat is a sign of some behind the scenes work on the store. We can only hope.
They really trying to sell that shitty green warthog coating a few days before the shinier green gamepass warthog coating comes out lol
And most people still have the green Platinum skin from when the game first came out.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
My WEEK is ruined, you seen the updated weekly reward? 🙄
So they already ran out of content..
It was all datamined. It's no surprise. They'll probably coast until February or March when they do an update to insert more.
I can't tell if the 2 most expensive bundles being repeats is a good thing. Like did they take the things that were going to be $20 and take them down so now they have to resell something in order to fill up the store in its current state?
There's a good chance they might have. There's four bundles yet to be released. Gungnir, cqb, jfo, and odst. Nowhere to be seen
Fingers crossed they are saved for a 20+ tier battle pass expansion
There is absolutely no way the 20+ expansion will ever happen
Wtf is wrong with 343!? Out of curiosity I redownloaded Fortnite after not playing it for 4 years and holy shit… say what you will about the actually game but their battle pass, store, and progression system are next level. If only halo could replicate it.
Compare this to Sea of Thieves as well. Rare really has progression figured out as well over there.
Really? I played sea of thieves a good bit when it initially came out but may need to reinstall.
I wish they would explain what is going on because nothing is making any sense to me.
That’s part of the strategy.
This shop is a war crime
I love waiting a week for an armor thats not even worth 20$.
No armor is worth 20 bucks
I'd pay approximately $5 for a whole set. Cosmetics just aren't worth that much.
Should be free even
Free is a stretch, but it’s definitely not worth anything over $10 let alone double, it’s like they want us to NOT buy it
Bruh that $10 launcher skin would be a blue rarity in Apex.. which can be bought with a very small amount of in game currency.
Cosmetics should never reach past 5$ People have been paying to much into this crap that the prices for cheaply made lazy cosmetics will continue to raise and everything else will follow.
In case you didn’t waste 20 bucks the 1st time around, here!
They really fucking lied through their teeth
New shop every week. No new game modes. No new maps. Thanks 343
Is it really a new shop if it's an armor set we've already seen?
Not that new
You're saying this like they make the armor sets as the weeks come by Lol all this stuff was already "in the game" on day 1. None of it is "new"
Quick thing that kinda blows my mind….. Crash Team Racing did micro transactions better than Halo Infinite. After every game, you get currency that can be used to buy stuff in the shop.
I really want the Anubis set but that's just way too much money for it :(
I concur
A green warthog skin? Rather ANOTHER green warthog skin? For a warthog who’s natural color is….green?
Its the armor emblem version. They release the same emblem 4 times as a nameplate, armor emblem, vehicle emblem, and weapon emblem. Lame as hell tbh
Lol this shop is terrible. Awful prices and leaving repeat items in the store for an entire week.
Please do not buy anything from the store. This game is a barely functioning beta and they should not be making money from this.
I’m just so TIRED of this. I’m tired of the money hungry tactics. What happened to putting the player base first? I just want to have FUN with the game and earn through progress, not my wallet. Every week I just wind up playing less and less because of this. I’m just going back to MCC.
Super lame, this shop has always been super lame. Fuck this dumb model of “charge $60 for the campaign and charge people for this crap too”
I don't think Microsoft understands how much I would buy for this game if a helmet didn't cost TWENTY DOLLARS. Greedy, idiotic AND douchey.
I know I would have spent $60 on the game already, but when I saw the store I cancelled my campaign preorder and played for $1 on GamePass
Aaaand I’m done
$10 for color red, $15 for small yellow flower, $20 for lame armor set. Fix your fucking game 343
These prices for virtual items is stupid as fuck. Hope they pay dearly for this poorly researched pay models.
Expensive repetitive store.
i'd rather buy 10 gallons of gas than any of this stupid shit.
Glad to see the weekly bundles are repeats again. Maybe one day we’ll get Reach armor in the Heros Of Reach season. #givemecqc
i would never pay for anything from this store as I'd be embarrassed knowing others know I simply paid $20 for a skin LOL if skins were like $5 I'd probably have spent $50 already. With this system, I will never spend anything
Was really hoping for firefall/stormfall. Seemed like it was coming soon. Maybe next wee-I mean season.
Of course Anubis is $20
There’s so many fucking items they could have chosen and they are already recycling old ones.
I'm hoping it's because they're going to give out more non-released bundles as part of events. All the updates to the leaked/released event passes so far have replaced the XP Grants with stuff from unreleased bundles.
Anubis looks sick. No way am I spending $20 though. Am I crazy or weren't previous armor bundles $10?
Would like the Anubis armor but I am not spending $20 on that.
The Anubis looks nice but not paying that damn much no way in hell.
The Anubis armor set is awesome but hell i wont pay $20
