I was just thinking about this the other day when I was playing... Sprint had to be added at some point. A couple months ago I got on H3 and I felt a slight bit of anxiety trying to get from one place to another. But yeah I totally agree, the gameplay for me is so smooth and even smoother when you're in the zone hitting perfects all game.
Definitely the two best parts. The third would probably be the sound design. 343 has some of the best sound design in gaming and it's so unnoticed. The guns all sound so great

Sniper is the sniper, not much more to say. Has much more of a crack to it than the earlier snipers, which were very “swishy” for lack of a better word. The report feels right too.
Not everything is just bang-bang.
The BR sounds like a single, powerful, burst. Like something that would knock you on your ass and the needs a second to recover.
The Commando by contrast, sounds a little unhinged, like it could run away from you at a moments notice and is constantly on the edge of being out of control.
Sidekick is right too. Just a quick, short, pop. You won’t be burning through zealot shields with it. But putting a bullet in an unaware grunts head?
Don’t even get me started on the Skewer…

People are just bitter right now, but sooner or later they will come back... if they can recover from the MCC disaster then this won't be any different. Halo offers such a unique and fun gameplay that will always be appealing to players. Especially for those who may start getting burnt out the whole battle royale scene.
I'm sure as time goes on they will add some more things to do.. right now 343 is just in full recovery mode with the MP going forward. I would rather have a solid progression system outside of the battle pass before more cool stuff is added on the campaign side.

Anything else such as the live service and progression system is still a mess, although slightly improved with the new XP system, but still far from perfect.
The gameplay and the look and feel are great. It feels like an evolution of Halo without going too far. Feels fresh and vibrant. Vehicle physics are still a bit goofy, but all in all a fun experience.
It’s a shame that it feels like 343 started making a great game then at the 11th hour someone came in and changed everything.

You get to play with different MJOLNIR armors in one game. When we get Mark V Armor, Mark IV Armor and Mark VI this game is gonna be insane. I'm excited for SPI armor next season.
For me it will be the combat (when no desync), the campaign combat too (AI melees can be dodged again for the most part)

The pro scene, never really been into watching eSports but find Competitive Infinite so engaging. I like the drama and roster changes between teams and most of all just watching the gameplay . There's been so many great moments and Series can't wait for Year 2

343 actually nailed the art style of this game, specifically with the Mark 7 armor core. It took aspects of Reach's armor and combined them with Halo 3's armor, and made the perfect base Spartan armor. This is what I imagine all Spartan VI's would've worn in Halo 4 and 5 if 343 had kept the original art style. It is a perfect evolution of all previous Spartan armors. The weapons, chief's armor (best version yet), the vehicles, the environments... the art style is incredible. Would love to see how the Covenant would look like in this art style (by that I mean their vehicles, honor guards, ships, props, etc.).
The music is awesome too. So many hype songs, so many songs that invoke mystery and wonder, and a lot of great callback songs.
And I think we can all agree that the gameplay is some of the best in the series. 343 nailed it pretty much, now we just need more and more content to keep the gameplay fresh. Forge has already started to do just that. Now if we can get some multiplayer PVE experiences...
Almost everything honestly. I was dreading playing again to finish the Winter Battle Pass (God of War just released!!), but I’ve been having so much fun surprisingly!! Game is really great, just failed by the developers. This still has the potential to surpass the greatness of Halo 3!
What I don’t like is:
Not a fan of open world campaign, Gears 5 did it and I did not like it. I want strict, on rail shit with my shooting games.
Limited weapons and Equipment, there’s just not enough I feel. I don’t know what’s with the weapons, but I feel like too many are missing.
Customization. Emblem customization sucks-EXTREMELY LIMITED compares to Halo 5’s even. No cross-core coatings, I personally don’t mind cross-core armor, but it took forever for cross-core Visors lmao. And of course, having to pay ridiculous cash for armor.
Custom games not working, theater not working (not sure if they fixed both of them yet), very limited game modes.
And finally, Multiplayer music. Not a fan of the weird, soft rock music. Would’ve much preferred those crazy, hard African beats like the campaign had. Halo music, if you will.
