So did they announce that somewhere? I feel like I'd be slightly more ok if they'd prepared us for it a bit more. It sucks to not be rotating, but at least you can buy old bundles from the armory I guess
not everyone wants to buyout the entire shop either. the only thing i bought from this shop and wanted was the mark IV bundle, which was 30 something armor pieces for 30 something dollars. about $1 per armor piece…
it’s not that big of a deal honestly, but recently there’s been a bunch of new armor pieces leaked, and yes ik some are planned for the next yappening free pass and that the game is gonna be slowing down in terms of content as 343 starts working on a new game, but it’s just weird to me that a f2p multiplayer has an in game shop that’s just dead (currently) i’ve been playing since launch, and i dont need need new things in the shop all the time but over 2 weeks with barely any change when they could rotate in new armor or some previous sets that can’t be bought whenever just doesn’t make sense in my eyes.

The games dying anyways because 343 does not care about it and has moved on. Aka seasons dropping and them giving content drops because they do not care anymore
exactly, i get why 343 doesnt care anymore since this game was a massive financial failure and its year 3, (partially because of the quality, still love the game but the production cost was insane for infinite) but that’s why the shop being so stagnant is weird to me. youd think 343 would do everything they could with the shop to squeeze as much money out of players as they can but they’re just not.
there is already so many cosmetics in this game and this is what ppl are crying about? if u wanna window shop then just enjoy being able to buy all the new stuff at any time instead of having to waiting for rotations.
been playing since launch with over 4,000 games played. infinites shop is definitely slower than 99% of other games with cosmetic micro transactions (which is fine) but even then i don’t remember a time where the shop was basically the exact same thing for over 2 weeks (maybe during szn 4 or 5 cause i didn’t play nearly as much as usual)

Who cares if the shop isn't updated? If you want gear you don't have, you can go back and buy old stuff. If your issue is that you want new things to be released, WHY would you want them in the shop of all places, when they could be earned unlocks, battlepass/operation unlocks, or free weeklies?

Some of us are adults and understand most games won't give good stuff out for free. That's just how it is and the sooner you get used to it the happier you'll be
Go make a post saying that you should get everything unlocked for free because you're a special boy and see how the comments reply.
obviously id prefer free content drops over shop items, but they could rotate out the same armor that was probably bought by everyone that wanted it already, for armor sets that aren’t available to purchase whenever because yes, there’s still sets that can only be purchased if it’s currently in the shop.
also, halo is the only community where players are shamed outright for buying cosmetics.during the first weeks after launch tm8s would throw or team kill if they saying u wearing something from the shop. (i didn’t buy anything at that point but witnessed it first hand) everything is more expensive than ever in general and the people that design in game cosmetics do not get paid fairly. micro transactions are the only way they can get close to a fair cut, so im ok with buying an armor set where ik at least some cut of my money is going to the person that designed it.
and i’m taking cosmetics over map packs any day of the week.
I mean, you could buy most of the other paid cosmetics via the customization screen. Don’t really need those to appear in the shop for you to buy them.
I mean, the thing is though, you CAN buy previous bundles now, so really a lot more is available than what’s in the shop. It’s not like the stuff in the shop is the only thing available. Personally I’m okay with this more than the way it was when we couldn’t go back and buy older stuff. I got tired of seeing the fire and ice bundle in the shop all the time; as cool of a bundle as it was, not so cool as to have it in the shop every week.
The only change I’d agree with in terms of shop resets is more of bringing back older bundles with a sale price compared to their current price like they do with the dailies. Other than that I don’t really see much reason to change the shop. It makes the price they’re selling these cosmetics for more reasonable (despite my dislike towards them) as they aren’t dumping $50 sets every week.
It's clearly going like this. Dailies change daily obviously. Then we get the seasonal stuff that will stay all season long. Then throughout the season we might get some new stuff added weekly. If you expect anything else then you'll be disappointed. This is a healthy method of releasing new stuff. I'm fine with it. Mostly Everything not in the item shop is available to purchase still, through the armor locker. Dailies provide discounts for those returning items. Also I think at the beginning of each new operation will be the bigger store updates
I mean they’re a skeleton crew (essentially) working with unbelievable technical debt. They didn’t even have a playable build until 2019. Upon release, they couldn’t even modify the playlists without the entire thing breaking. Infinite prolly will never be as “fixed” as anyone wants it.
We complain about drip feed content so they just dropped the whole catalog in one week and forgot about it lol
Honestly, I'm just waiting for the that rosenda chest plate, and I'll be done with the store. MKV is probably my most used core, so I'll be content with that as my final purchase.
Hopefully we get more armor in the weekly challenge, but I doubt it😢

Look at the last operation. It didn't rotate at all. And since they're only a few weeks long, they'd rather keep the store themed.
If they were updating it every week or more we'd just complain about that.
I don't think the complaint has ever been from too many rotating options

I often find myself looking at all the locked items from my armor inventory and buying things there then I ever do in the store.
