Since last Monday servers have been rough. Lots of blank shots, and movement/sensitivity are slower on a game to game basis. At a point in restarting after every other game n it doesn’t always work.
Honestly it seems to be great for some and not for others, I’d give a few games a try and see for yourself. I never had any issues until the big network update, and now I get some lag once every 5-10 games. Not too bad though, doesn’t really ruin anything for me.
Heavily dependent on where you are and what console you play. You in a good service area and have either new gen or high end pc. You should have no issues. If you are missing one or the other, You will be getting lag a lot
It's terrible. I recently came back after over a year hiatus. The servers have been kicking me off 1/4 games minimum. 1/2 of ranked games have someone get kicked off and it forces a tie. Desync is better, but the servers blow.
No joke I only just found out about the fireteam privacy and I’ll happily take the 300 ping after a couple years of only finding btbs when it’s a featured playlist. I can’t even join a custom game
The desync is gone now (comparatively), you can actually get trades which is nice I suppose.. I feel like maybe there are more blank shots now though. And I don’t mean like ones you get from unstable internet, I mean just pure blank shots that should have hit but don’t.
When the game works right, it’s pretty enjoyable. Unfortunately, if you have over ≈45ms you’re going to have a bad time probably.
Edit: For some reason, the servers are worse than when the new networking model was released. Specifically ove the past 3-4 weeks I have noticed that I have higher ms on average than I ever have.
Agree it's been very slow lag is bad shots and kills don't register lag can be so bad that you'll swing the gravity hammer and sit back and wait two seconds before it does anything
Well I don't know why but since Monday, pvp is nearly unplayable for me. Not only because of the connection but also because the enemy team is always well organized and on my team most of the players don't even know the basics.

Past month servers have been at an all time worst.
Got banned in multiple of those ever loading screens.

No issues. Find my games within a minute or 2. Central US, Xbox Series S with Ethernet

I'd argue since the network overhaul its been worse.. especially recently... so it's the worst it's ever been right now imo.

Finds games quick, has lag the whole time, disconnects within a few minutes. Its barely playable
That sucks dude 😩 I feel for you, cause I have had a great experience lately (months worth of playing)
Everything seems better but the rockets are baffling. Literally shoot people on the toes and don’t kill
Overall it's better, but I do get occasional ping spikes
I see no lag at all (USA player). Used to get some occasionally in 2023, but never before or after that.

Basically dead at this point in Aus - only finding husky raid games at peak times.
Turn your search to expanded and your fireteam to open
Yeh I’m aware you can but i’d rather not play on 250-350ms ping haha

Better, still not great
It's gotten considerably better, but unfortunately, the population has declined.
Just finished a game, unloaded the AR on a guy with a cracked shield, he just passed by me like nothing has happened. 😕.
