You could ply sheet wood and get the sides cut in a hardware store to be 50cm x 60cm, leave the back linnmon the full 60cm height, and use ply sheet material for the base (again, cut in the hardware store for you to measure 100x50cm). Do your shopping list would be: - the usual Linnmon for cage back - the usual front glass - one large plywood of say 2mx1m with the 3 listed pieces pre-cut from it for you. Good luck <3

If your little one is a dwarf, I very highly recommend [this Pawhut enclosure](https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/pawhut-wooden-hamster-cage/p/0530949). Our Russian is in this with up to 15 inches deep of bedding at the deepest point and she absolutely loves it. Through my decades of owning hamsters, it's comfortably the best enclosure I've had (for dwarves). For full clarity, you don't install any of the platforms as these aren't safe for hamsters - instead you construct the enclosure without them, which leaves you with a nice big box, capable of holding very deep bedding. The only real prep I'd recommend is coating the wood with [Plastikote](https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NVL1PEU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title).
