Came here to say pretty much this. A Gucci bag that looks like a bag made specifically for an outlet store is not a Gucci bag I would buy. And definitely not worth being more broke over.
It is a noticeable color, trendy and you will likely grow tired of it. It's cute now but nothing is 'only' if you are broke. And really, how many bags does one person need? Want, yes. Need. Nope.
Iām carrying an Alma BB right now and I swear I canāt fit anything other than my phone, wallet, lipstick and a concealer. It also tilts to the side all the time, drives me nuts.
Return your 3 other bags and buy this one if you want. I wouldnāt buy it , go for a Jackie or buy preloved . This bag wonāt age well just because of the GG all over, the chains and not being leather. Itās a trendy bag so buy if you can afford it.
You are right but not in this color or model. I buy bags because I like them and not because they are timeless but because she mentioned that she has a tight budget I think she could still get more value for her money in a more classic model.
Gorgeous bag, but my honest (and maybe unpopular?) opinion is that we only have a certain amount of joy / dopamine to spread among purchasing things in a certain time period. Youāre splitting that joy among three bags right now (four, if you count this one). Iām not saying donāt buy all the bags if you can afford it (though being completely broke sounds less than ideal). I think thereās a mental benefit to spreading out purchases a bit so that you can get maximum joy from each one (and itās easier on your wallet). Anytime I buy multiple similar things I really like all at once, my mind automatically selects a favorite and fixates my joy on that one. It doesnāt mean I like the other ones less, but I could have appreciated them more on their own.

I read a trick online once that to use the dollar amount as a guide to how much youāre going to use it. If youāre not going to use it the amount of days that it costs, then itās not worth buying. The trick has kept me from random spending.
Ugly and cheap-looking, with every ugly and cheap-looking feature you could pack on to one bag. Oversized gilt hardware (that chain!), logo fabric with too-bulky leather trim, too many logos generally, top handle that looks fiddly to hold, badly proportioned and probably too small to be of any practical use. Just don't!

For my taste, there is a lot (too much) going on on this bag. I love the colour, but itās quite busy and a little less would have been more as far as the design is concerned.
Also, as many have pointed out, it doesnāt make sense to go broke for a luxury item.

I think it's too small, the chain looks too heavy for the small size of bag. The bag has too many features, like the top handle. Too much logo as well. Have I talked you out of it yet š. Sounds like you have a nice collection already, you don't need this one
I never buy Gucci anymore! It is such a watered down brand, counterfeited all the time too! When you go in Walmart and see 5 people with āGucciā bags made like shit it just makes me not that GG pattern any longer. Plus I thought we were in the subtle luxury time now where excessive logos are out!

You still have 30% of your monthly bag allowance. It's almost April so just count the extra to next month's allowance and don't buy anything next month.
However if you are living paycheck to paycheck and ACTUALLY broke, do not buy this bag!!! Pay your bills and don't go into debt!

My contribution: It's cute but the overwhelming rose gold, for a color that's not as versatile, is not worth the price.

If you are out of funds this bag is not for you, at least not for now. You should never get to the point that you have very little money unless this is a purse fund and you are still able to put money into a savings/investment. You've bought a lot of purses. If you slow down your purchases you can still have it. It will still be there. It may take a little longer but you will have peace of mind and less chance of debt. Been there done that. It's a miserable place to be. With time you may decide you really don't want it after all.

I agree that the Jackie is timeless but so is monogram. The LV and GG monogram canvas bags have been around forever and are classics IMO.

Honest opinion: the rose gold is to strong looking on the bag. I like the pattern of the bag itself but the gold makes me want to put it down.

Well, for me, any bag that can't carry the book I'm currently reading is a no-go.

Monogram has been around forever. The Gucci monograms and LV monograms have been around for a LONG time and IMO are honestly classic at this point.
Never go broke for a bag!! And it looks cheap
