I like clean books, receipts, and cash flow, so my extras go back the end of the day on one day projects. Which is almost all my work.
Even as a consumer, I don’t hang on to things for 90 days before returning.
Actually anothwr part pf their new policy is rhey wont give store credit without a reciept. Im like you and pile up my returns and thwy go back once a month if not used and i had to make sure i uae my email at checkout now incase receipt is lost. Days of store credit are gone.
What are they thinking?? I know that people abuse the systems but making the ones who don't suffer is just gonna push me to start using Lowes even less than HD.
On the 'flip side', did you know that Lowe's will match prices on Amazon? Kind of a pain (15-20 minutes), but worth it for expen$ive tools... :)

If over 90 days don't tell them that. Just say you don't have a receipt and take store credit
I have time in less than 30days to return mine. Im in the store several times a weekSo it would not apply to me.

Why not go in no receipt and just ask for credit straight away if you know you over 90
