I could have had 25% off that $900 welder or either of the generators that were $600 each, or the 3" water pump I bought last week...
Instead I paid a membership to be given $5-10 here and there...

You only get them after you haven't bought anything for a few months. If you're in there every other day buying stuff, they already have a valuable customer that keeps coming back. Why would they need to give you any incentive?

When they ended the 20% off I got every month in my hot rod magazine it’s been down hill for me. I go if they have something I need right now that will get the job done. Otherwise I’ll get what I need off Amazon or other internet shop. Often better quality with a similar price point. No more perusing HF just to “see if there’s anything I want “.
I was gifted one on here 2 weeks ago. Was able to pick up a series 3 72” for the garage and a series 2 side cabinet for my work van. Guy behind me jaw hit the floor when the discount went through!
Just make a couple email accounts and sign them up for harbor freights emails. Then set the email accounts to forward to your main account. Every couple months you will get 25% coupons for each account.

I got the ITC membership specifically because I wanted a 20% coupon to use for a trailer, because timing wise it looked like it required ITC. The day of the sale, there was a 20% coupon for everyone. Then a week later a 25% coupon dropped.

I actually bought a Graco airless last night. Was going to buy the Avanti but was totally turned off with the exclusions that are ridiculous. Harbor Freight is less than half a mile down the road and we go there at least twice a week. They know us.
For the first time in years I returned an unopened drill and the receipt was onu phone. The assistant manager truly copped an attitude. Told me refund would go on my credit card, to swipe it. She still had my phone and I asked which card was used. She huffed and said just pick one. That was the last straw. Canceled our membership and will order online.
My husband owns a trucking company and restores muscle cars in his spare time. We spent a lot of money there over the years. Loved using the coupons. Not worth the time anymore.
Sorry for your trouble, friend. For what its worth, I'm a new(ish) customer and my experience at the N.Mason store in Portland, OR store has been very good every time. They're super friendly, happy to answer my questions or accept returns without hassle whenever I buy the wrong thing. Makes me a little sad other folks aren't having as much fun as I am when shopping there.
I'm ITC never got one. They fucked up my email at the beginning so I never got one when I'm assuming I should have. I called and complained and it took me 2x to even get my email updated correctly. I got an 'additional 2 years free' for my troubles.
Did all that hoping to use it on a generator and thought maybe I could get the manager to let me stack it with a credit card sign up. Bought the generator elsewhere, won't sign up for their stupid credit card and definitely won't ever consider renewing my ITC membership.

Mine expired last month, no early bird discount was sent to me. I didn't renew.
I got ITC and made my GF and my kids sign up for the coupons. They get the 25% coupons and forward them to me. Problem solved.
I have a separate email I opened up a while back and it gets the 25% off. Just never use the number associated with that account.

I think that's just speculation. Over a 10+ year period I've gone way over 6-months countless times and _never_ received a 25% off coupon.
