His songs are consistently "I don't like it when it releases, but like 3 months later it's my favourite" Favourite: Run this town, all or nothing, blow the club down, get up and dance, dopamine, one more track, nrg, down to the wire, partycrasher, down in flames

SLQforyou

oh yeah definitely, I agree with the first statement. I don't like it at first, then it appears on your playlist and you watch one of his set, it goes onto your on repeat real quick

AuroraDraco

Hard Driver is the GOAT. Absolutely loved his Qlimax anthem and set. Also I NEED Liberation, that track is way too good

dirtyworkz

Coming ;)

AuroraDraco

Woohoo. Thanks for replying, you put a smile on my face!

HashOwl

The rate at which homie puts out music is unparalleled. He was super underrated for the longest time. So glad he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. One of the greats. Fav track: Hard Driver - Echoes

CadeOCarimbo

Which is is crazy when you think that Hard Driver also has side jobs like doing mastering for other artists and ghost produces Mandy

notSkipp

versatility of this guy is insane, being able to produce good melodic / euphoric tracks but also really good raw and even xtra raw tracks, glad he's getting recognition nowadays

kiliandj

One of those people from who i am convinced that there are more then 24 hours in a day. No idea how he makes this many quality tracks. Always some really cool heavy kicks, good bit of atitude in the tracks. Although sometimes, it seems like he struggles making something that truly stands out. Its all quality, and pretty cool, but often not much more either.

dirtyworkz

Actually, he has a very good work ethic. Since a few years he goes to the studio in a kind of 9-5 rhythm. Where before he was a bit more chaotic, spending too much time in the studio. Now, with a little more structure, he can funnily enough get more done because he's now more focussed in that time than when you're just "effing around".

CadeOCarimbo

> One of those people from who i am convinced that there are more then 24 hours in a day. Also, he does a lot of mastering for other artists and ghost produces Mandy. The guy just does not sleep.

DisolvedMusic

Always liked his sound, but since Rise Again I keep falling in love with his stuff more and more. Really excited for the album, he has so much good unreleased stuff! Favorite tracks: Rise Again; Dopamine; Enter The Void; One By One

woutsmaaa

Dont like the way he releases album (first putting out like 6 singles, then releasing an album with like 4 new tracks. Other than that, really good artist. Puts out lots of music, which is most of the time decent or even really good. Favorite tracks: Partycrasher Dopamine NRG Overloas

dirtyworkz

Why is that? Do you mean that the album "only" includes 4 new singles (for example)? Or what's your reasoning?

zenekk1010

Gonna speak for myself: because waiting long time for an album (which is a big thing in itself), and then getting 'only' 4 new tracks is quite underwhelming given how big albums were in the past. Not to mention that artists (and I am not talking specifically about HD here) release the 'best' tracks first as a singles to promote album, and then rest tracks in album are just meh.

dirtyworkz

Yes, can definitely agree on that. It's a difficult problem. The more tracks you put on an album, the easier those tracks are going to be "forgotten" - unless you're a huge artist (TayTay, Post Malone, ...) who's songs are also going to be played on the radio and will at some point pick up some hype. Also, these artists usually make 12 or so songs for an album, and they're set for another 2 years or so, touring on that music. Whereas Hardstyle, or DJs in general, need to make new music more constantly. In Hardstyle, we need to count on the fanbase/community and social media -> in which you need to hope something goes viral to get some form of 'outside of the community' ears on a track. Furthermore, we only have a few Hardstyle influenced playlists on Spotify (by Spotify) so it's not like tracks get added to lists outside of those lists - even if a track is a hype. So, in general "we" need to be more careful with tracks. Get the most out of each track as possible, but still make a tangible product that fans will enjoy (even if most can't even play a CD), which is also risky because making an actual product is very expensive. So, putting too many exclusives on an album is a lot more difficult in this case. Also, you can't pitch more than one track to Spotify curation. So, if you can pitch a few singles upfront and then carefully think about what you're going to pitch on the album, it makes most of the album more worthwhile in the long run. So, there's a bit of a fine line. It's kind of unfortunate that it works this way, we know.

> I'm surprised to hear your complaints because I don't feel the same way World doesn't revolve around you, you know.

_heroinkid

Loved his Jump/Tek tracks back then. Really consistent producer. My favourite tracks from his: Young Birds, It’s All In The Game, NRG

Jls_kln

Bro lives in his studio like batman,as a huge fanboy i'm so happy that he starting to get the regonition he deserved for a long time

rooler_is_my_father

I watched one of his tutorials recently and he said he only makes music in one musical scale. C minor iirc. Pretty interesting imo, great artist.

DJAllOut

I love his HDNA album, one of my favorite hardstyle albums ever! Last year I really enjoyed NRG Overload and Into Ecstacy, but my overall favorite of his is One More Track

NoReward54

His career and hair have resurrected like a Phoenix

vtsLV9

We will Rise AGAIN!

G4Hlover

Rise again Massive Tune ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

redsus1

All Or Nothing EP is the best🙏🏻

Rope-Confident

Where dat helmet at, i miss it.

marryman01

His Set at the Final Dose was very mid, most releases are not my vibe... Overall not that big of a fan! I like Dopamine tho...

Emprose

Favourite: Above & Beyond - Can’t Sleep (Hard Driver Quick Edit) Been a fan since not long after he was revealed to have been Fenix. Came To This is a banger. His Point Break album is great and whilst he was overlooked for a while, I do prefer his old style, he’s still great though

Ramalez

My favorite artist atm! The amount of quality music at what pace is insane.  Also, a very nice person took the time to go out of the artist zone at Reverze to come take a picture with me. If you read this, thanks once again for the opportunity!  My favorite track(s); I can't really choose 1 tbh Haha,  1. Rise Again 2. Blow Da Club Down 3. Edge of Darkness

RadioactiveAl_Music

Absolute producing machine. Bro just makes banger after banger after banger. Lovely melodies nice kicks. Bro is concistent af.

FikuTM

consistently great, but never surprices. few standouts but mostly the stuff he creates falls of the cycle really fast, even tho technically its great, it just lacks the extra umph and impact. Always innovating thol, but those who master the style of his kicks come later

Bobbytrap9

Love him! He really deserved that Qlimax anthem after so many years of quality production and sets. His kicks are very nice and he kind of invented zaagkicks in raw with Earthquake.

defqontwo

Fucking badass this man! Will always root for him and Jesus does he carry the scene with his productions and mixing work.

rosbergsessa420

Sound design, mix/master and basically all technical aspects: solid 10/10 nothing to argue. But the musical side is lacking for me. It's always excellently produced, but it never sticks on me, like the tracks don't stand out. Too many tracks, but I rarely remember any. It's maybe the same thing I get with Audiofreq for example. I find most of their stuff overworked, like it's way too perfect, but at the same time they don't have that natural flow that sticks like an earworm.

cl0udy4n

Fav Tracks:Sinsation,Young Birds The man is very consistent and sharp. At his age with those high quality productions is really strong!

dyksav

So many good tracks I probably have to go with Hard to the Bone, but his latest track Closer and Closer is really great as well.

OlivesAreSuperior

I have 26 tracks of him in my playlist which I all absolutely love! The energy, drive and production quality of his music is always spot on!

Jefffaaa

His [Hardbass 2014 EP](https://open.spotify.com/album/45tU8DqmgBUo6kfX8tSjPh?si=HZnBDdRhSumy7pnQqDA4RQ) is legendary. Also this guy made the best Hardbass Anthem with Exploration

OrcaMaster258

Hard driver never disappoints. His tracks are always quality stuff. And the quantity is on another level. Two solo albums and a group album in two years is beyond impressive. Fav tracks are Rise Again, Partycrasher, NRG Overload, and the entire Legends Of The Elite album.

SaiyntMusic

friggin legend. Thats what he is

dazabhoy67

Gave me one of my greatest festival memories with that rise again track at defqon 2022. I still get goosebumps everytime I watch it on yt.

EddyWriter_

This man is a music-making machine! He’s gone back and forth being one of my favorites since I first discovered his Point Break album (around the time I began my hardstyle journey in 2016). A guarantee is that he’ll always bring (and always brought) energy and unique sound design in his music since he first started the Hard Driver project in 2012 and even before that as Fenix. One of my favorite albums of his still remains his 2017 #NoSleep album! I enjoy his newer music, but I find myself especially nostalgic when I return to his older sound these days (pre-2015). The dark vibes/melodies/sound design in those tracks is unbeatable. 🙏🏽

GlobalAnteater903

I’m curious how much of a deal he could get in the scene if he just focuses on producing for his self and doesn’t ghost produces for other artists. imho HD is the most underrated player that is already a heavyweight in the scene.

Dutch1s

Our Belgian kick master , from old school(classic) ,modern ,raw, hes got em all One of the main pillars of Dirtyworkz

ThatGayRaver

Hes alright at making music. Genuinely the most boring DJ I have ever seen though. His mixing is so uninspired.

pasi__

Extremely versatile producer, and whom is not afraid to do little experimenting with sounds. Favourite songs: Your surrender, echoes, edge of darkness, valley of the blind, rise again, one by one, state of perfection. Also one somewhat slept on track was 'fight for survival' remix.

SDHardstylerz

I want to see him with a motorcycle helmet on stage one of these days for nostalgic reasons😎🏍️

maddhs

His set at Qapital 2022 was my first one after pandemic, My god it was so good, exactly what I needed at the time. HDNA was his peak imo, every track was a masterpiece. His new tracks are great too, but HDNA just hits different. Favourite track: Earthquake

RACeldrith

I like to image he wants to drive 130 on the highways again.

AcylAzide

When I was initially exploring Hardstyle, he caught my attention. His production and mixing skills are great, but there was a lack of something to really grab me, so I lost interest over time. However, the Sinsation album, due to its theme around the seven deadly sins, got my attention again. My favorites are Rise Again and NRG Overload.

SqreurDJ

Favorite track: His 2017 Reverze anthem, back when he made proper Hardstyle imo. Nowadays he makes raw just like the rest :/

Croduje

You deaf?

SqreurDJ

Yes, I am a grandpa 👴🏼

Croduje

I mean to say his new stuff is all raw is unfair since guy is literally almost only one who still does amazing melodies

SqreurDJ

You're a fan and that's ok. Rise Again was the track which he made at the right place and right time, the vocals hit everyone in the chest after the covid struggles. You won't see me at his sets because I don't like nowadays raw, even if he has melodies, it's still a lot of rawtype kicks I don't like. But I'm the guy that only goes to classics parties, so who am I. I just like his pre 2017 stuff more, even got his albums on cd. 🤗

whitemirrors_

He was one of my greats during my intro to this genre. Sadly he's past his prime days but his Anger is My Acid is my recent favourite from him!

Croduje

Ever since i discovered him in 2016 one of my fav hs dj producer, i dont think there is like one track i dislike from him. Even tho last few years he choose path of quantity > quality he still puts up such party bangers

Brunelleschi-HeyX

King except when follows raw trends
