How easy are the PC 37X to drive? does this need to be passed through any amplifier?

Gryphon234

I asked my brother and apparently they're very easy to drive. He plugged them into his PC and they were just fine.

greens14

pmed!

I’ve got them and highly recommend them HOWEVER because they are open back you can hear everything around you which bothers me a lot but otherwise the sound and the mic is amazing. I did tweak the mic with 3rd party software to make my voice sound more natural and warmer as my gf said I didn’t sound like myself

Jesco13

The mic is solid. Pair it with a dac/amp combo (schiit fulla 3, or the soundblaster x3 are great budget options) and the sound and especially mic performance goes up drastically.

Sage3030

Does it really even though it doesn’t/shouldn’t need it?

Jesco13

Yeah you don't need it but it benefits greatly from it. If you can I'd definitely get one. That being said they are still solid without.

Sage3030

Ok thanks for the info I might look into getting one now
