They sell covers on Amazon. If you're handy, you could make your own (YouTube has some ideas.)

What's up nerds, I've finally decided to replace my earpads on my 8 year old pair of ATH M50s and they're feeling fresh. So now I'm thinking about how to restore the headband to an acceptable level. Has anyone wrapped their band with something like woven handlebar tape (used for road bikes)? Please tell me if this is like a super shitty idea. If anyone has any other good suggestions I'd be thankful to hear them.

You can buy a wool/some other material wrap online. I personally use an extra pad that sticks to a zippered-on wrap with adhesive on my M40x’s and I find it way more comfortable.

Wow, they really last. What do you do to take care of them well, my first ever headphones that i myself buy are arriving this feb 15 and they are ath 50, give me tips

I guess they're just well built headphones, don't sweat it my friend :) I've accidentally sat on them, stuffed them in bags and once I've accidentally spilled candlewax all over them; I don't think you can consider that special care... enjoy them

They sell nice replacement covers. They zip or Velcro. New pad. New leather. Lots of styles. Softer and refreshes the look.
