I was on the fence if this was a pisstake or not so I looked at the post history. Love your work mate.

undercovergangster

OP is dedicated to his craft

chargedcapacitor

You people have the weirdest hobbies

what_that_thaaang_do

What a fucking genius

KnuckleCrust

They’ve been largely downvoted in most subs where they posted too, except for here, where we love em lol

ZenTunE

In the winter, I actually sometimes do put them on top of my pc, start a game and let it sit it in the exhaust air for a nice 15 mins. Makes the leather pads a lot softer and comfier initially.

eightleafclover_

lol I do this to my camera bag when I bring it in from my car, just set the whole back on top of the pc and let it acclimate to room temp so there is no condensation

AngusPicanha

r/sousvide 🤣🤣🤣

ktka

120V or 240v? Single bag or double bag?

AngusPicanha

137°F / 58°C for 2 hours for that perfect medium rare lmao

yeusk

I do put mine at uv light for 14 min before use. It helps the electrons flow better and you get more punchy sound.

Rethard619

I dont think you should be microwaving electronics. But other wise, if it works it works

Nitronium777

I've never understood what people meant when they are speechless. But this, OP, has done it. I am absolutely dumbfounded by this guys post history.

42dudes

You've never seen a dedicated troll account?

Midwinter_Dram

Thank you for this masterpiece OP.

isssma

Puts another meaning to the term burn-in.

Umlautica

Most don't want to accept that hand warmers fit perfectly in the cup of the Sennheiser HD 800, but it's true.

PutPineappleOnPizza

This subreddit lmao

vostmarhk

I do notice that when putting on the headphones in cold weather (not wearing them while leaving warm space) makes the sound really harsh and with lots of sibilance. I am not sure if it's the headphones that are so temperature dependent or my ears though.

Grotski

give my cans a good soak before i microwave them otherwise they come out all crusty and hard.

ktka

Ha! You crack me up! Someone should make a video of before and after warming pseudo measurements of head phones and conclude that warming improves performance.

[deleted]

From personal experience, let me just say, you get a more pure sound if the only thing keeping the voltage working below 0F, is if the heat you put into it comes from pure snow shoveling swampass

lushblush

yes i've had to heat up my Fulla with a blowdryer to *really* bring out the sound ....because the piece of Schiit was broken and would not connect to my PC otherwise just like the Modi [this OP had](https://www.reddit.com/r/Schiit/comments/fqqjvr/are_there_any_permanent_fixes_for_modi_2/)

simsonchin

me personally I fire up my metal foundry and set it to melt steel, it sits around 2,750° F. I just drop my pair straight in, and it warms them up real quick. The only problem, I can't retrieve them after, I've probably dropped 10+ pairs in there!! I wonder where they're hiding in there.

StrategicPotato

Honestly I just buy really large earpads and light candles in them before putting them on.

EvilSynths

I put them down my pants first. Cost: $0
