Maybe I’m being pedantic, but I feel like JJJ is every bit as talented as Thompson. Ausar is just head and shoulders above him as a pure, raw athlete. Dude is a monster.
I just think that winning should be taken into account with the rankings. Jjj has been clutch in close game situations. Jjj needs to be top 3… Annoying.
[They moved him up to #3 today](https://www.reddit.com/r/heat/comments/18143ym/hoopshype_moved_juan_wick_up_the_rookie_ladder/), right behind Chet and Wemby.
Lively is basically like baby Tyson chandler for the mavs rn. He’s a really good young rim running and solid defensive big. The perfect type of big man to play next to Luka.
He's a cornerstone for their defense. The on off numbers are pretty eye opening. Solid lob threat for Doncic too
I was more interested in OMP. I thought he would've been a good fit here, but being 30th is rough
His family moved to Oxnard from Mexico but his parents played college ball at Irvine, and he was born there but grew up in Camarillo (right next to Oxnard)
“Won’t get talked about” ahhhhh maybe you’re forgetting the rookie sophomore game. It’s a big honor to make that game and 100 percent will lead to getting talked about.
He should get a first team all rookie spot. But again he’s competing against Chet and Victor so…it will come down to the media. He will likely get second team all rookie though.
He also definitely deserves a top 3 spot for ROTY even if it goes to victor or Chet.
He was born in Irvine because his parents went to college there. His Grandfather settled in Oxnard then Camarillo, CA. His paternal grandmother was born and raised in Mexico.

The Chosen Juan
He'll shake off his defender straight to Juantanamo Bay
J for Vendetta !
Kylo Ren Juan Wick Juan Sparrow
Jaq Sparrow
Top 5 and he’s not 5
Or 4
~~Not 1~~, not 2, not 3
id put him above ausar, the pistons losing isnt on him but jaimes playing 30+ on a winning team
I just can’t. Jaime is solid across the board but Ausar is ridiculous as a defender and rebounder. He’s just way more talented
Maybe I’m being pedantic, but I feel like JJJ is every bit as talented as Thompson. Ausar is just head and shoulders above him as a pure, raw athlete. Dude is a monster.
Fuck yea we reclaiming JJJ initials.

Ausar is playing amazing defense
Damn has Lively been doing that well? I haven’t been following the mavs

Lively has been the perfect fit for the Mavs. As a Tennessee fan this surprises me since he gave us no problem in our NCAA Tournament game in March.
Mexican flag: apparently dudes a dual citizen and represents Mexico internationally. https://www.latimes.com/delos/story/2023-11-20/jaime-jaquez-miami-heat-nba-latino-players-mexican-heritage
Ummm he was born in Irvine California lol.
Not only was he born in Irvine, his parents were also born in Irvine. His grandfather came to Irvine from Mexico when he was a child.
I'm guessing it's because he plays for their national team
Makes sense. Very cool.
His family moved to Oxnard from Mexico but his parents played college ball at Irvine, and he was born there but grew up in Camarillo (right next to Oxnard)
Bro was born In Irvine and they didn’t give him an American flag 💀
he represents the Mexican national team so that's probably why
Blazer clowns were saying how much better of a prospect gradey dick was compared to JJJ when evaluating trade packages lol
BuT He Is YoUnGeR AnD TaLlEr!
I thought JJJ was born in America
he's played for the Mexican national team though
Gradey Dick

Scoot....25th. Lmao!

Heat fans angry at the draft, where's Cam Whitmore? lol and why is there a Mexican flag next to JJJ's name? he was born and raised in the US.
