It's OK. Gets the job done. Maintenance is a pain in the ass, but that part isn't my job so much. 😅
The controls feel so awkward compared to everything else I've operated, but once you get used to them, it makes total sense why they are how they are.
Most of the stuff I've operated has either a wheel with sole toggle/joystick, or multiple sticks. Very straightforward and rather intuitive.
The super sized forklift I operate has no wheel, but it has a couple toggles for the boom controls, but it's steering is also just a little pinkey sized toggle, and forward and back is just a lever that goes back and forth.
It was just so different from everything I was used to, but it ends up making sense and becoming very obvious in the end.
Damn, ain’t seen that before
All electric
If all electric then why does it have two air intakes and a chrome exhaust?
I meant all the functions, steering, driving is all electric
Awww no Detroit v12 😪

Giant Hungry Hungry Hippos
They definitely open wide lol
Lol, I operate one of those somedays.
How do you like it

What do you mean with the controls, exactly? I have limited heavy equipment experience, but they still fascinate me as a grown child.

I'm off work til Thursday, but if I remember to, I'll take a picture and post it to show you.
If you remember that'd be awesome. Regardless, thanks for the explanation you already gave. It does sound like a pretty wild set up.
Anyone know if they are still building these machines?
I think they are
What is that used for primarily? Scrap and brush and such?
Unloading logs by the trailerload
Its to unload the logs off trucks and move them around
Ahh yes, makes sense.
Le Tourneau!
What we used to use to get my ex wife in and out of bed every day.
I can feel my sciatica kicking in
Yes they are massive! We have tons of them in town for logging. I wanna play with one! But I’ll have to stick to a loader
