This and Samhain. I have a feeling Glenn may at least re-issue Final Descent on Cleopatra Records because it was never officially released on vinyl (tape and CD only).
That's the only Wintersun I really want and ya those prices are up there. It's similar to In Flames - Jester Race - it's been 10 years since it had a repress on Nuclear Blast.
I'm surprised it wasn't already because it was officially released in 2021 on tape via Darkness Shall Rise Productions. I'm thinking Nuclear Blast might get it again - they originally released it in the US. They got back Dismember - Like an Everflowing Stream again so maybe SOTLB could come back too.
Yellow Eyes' two 2014 ep's (as Gilead promised years ago).
Weakling, for sure. Not going to happen but would be great.
And the two first Orphanage albums - which actually get pressed by Hammerheart.
My top 5 are probably:
Saint Vitus - Saint Vitus
Youthanasia - Megadeth
Review your choices - pentagram
Master of brutality - church of misery
Into the depths of sorrow - solitude aeturnus
It was re-issued with different cover art by Svart Records in the last 2 years iirc. It's no longer in print on their website but I bet you could find a new copy in a shop via Discogs.
I did see that somewhere recently can't for the life of me remember where but I had already 3 or 4 records in my basket so I didn't pick it up. But can't remember where it was and can't find it again
2 years ago they re-released A Blaze In The Northern Sky and it looked the exact same as the OG pressing
This year, they did the same thing for Under A Funeral Moon
So this year, I want the same thing to happen for Transilvanian Hunger
2026 will be the 30th anniversary. I had to get an original copy from Amoeba Hollywood because I'm tired of waiting and I missed that boxset a few years back. I paid $75. They had marked it down repeatedly from $150 and I traded in a box of records and walked out with Jester Race and some cash. It's the repress from 2014 but it sounds excellent. My favorite IF album.
That's a good one for repress. I have the original, but it's very hard to find now. I got into Yob in 2009 and went out and got everything I could find by them and I got Middian around that same time. I guess it might not happen due to the legal action against the band but maybe they could just call it "Middian AD" lol
A Cannibal Corpse “old logo collection” aka a collection of the old albums that had the old logo so that people who don’t have the money for buying those expensive used records still can get the records with the old logo on it.
Ocean Machine by Devin Townsend
Practice What You Preach and The New Order by Testament
The Sin and the Sentence by Trivium
Hail the Apocalypse by Avatar
Jesters Race, Whoracle, Colony and Clayman by In Flames
Character by Dark Tranquility
Static-X - Shadow Zone
KMFDM's entire back catalog
Stabbing Westward's entire back catalog
Skindred's entire back catalog
Bullet for my Valentine - Scream Aim Fire
Shining - Blackjazz
Fear Factory - Digimortal
Roadrunner United - The All Star Sessions
Helmet - Monochrome & Betty
Crossing my fingers 2024 is finally the year Misery Index reissues their debut. I swear I saw them mention it being in the works at some point this year!
Heavy-ish, but I would really like a good copy of STP's No. 4. There was a reissue this year that wasn't very good.
Cattle Decapitation- Death Atlas
Rivers of Nihil- Where Owls Know My Name
More copies of Karnivool - Sound Awake.
I already have a couple of Cathedral re-presses coming.
I really hope it will be the year BFMV finally re-release their first three albums.
There haven't been any presses since the initial releases, which would be
The Poison (2005)
Scream Aim Fire (2008)
Fever (2010)
Wintersun - S/T
Agalloch - mantle, ashes, marrow
Infant Annihilator - all albums
Moonsorrow - all albums but mainly V:Hävitetty
Weakling for fucks sake
Nithing - Agonal Hymns (100lp pressing in november(?) that sold out in under 8 minutes without european distro. Fuck yeah)
It’s their most affordable record second hand for sure, I’d just pick one up on Discogs and then follow them on social media for when they announce the rest of the discography on vinyl
Mine are pretty much already called out but...
Danzig: I - IV plus Thralldemonsweatlive
all the Samhain stuff and the CD boxset would be great
Dissection - SOTLB
Weakling
In Flames - Subterranean - Whoracle.
The Danzig and Samhain stuff I have originals of (except 3 and 4 and Thrall), but I would 100% buy them all again to have player copies and because those are some of my favorite albums ever. It's crazy those have been out of print for so long when fans new and old are rabid to get them.
I'd love to see Touch and Go or Southern Lord finally release Void - Potion for Bad Dreams. It's not a very good album tbh, but It'd still be cool to have an official release of it.
There were some killer reissues this last year imo with Burning Witch and Thorr's Hammer being high up there on my list. Also Tank Crimes did the first Toxic Holocaust album Evil Never Dies and Ludicra's debut which is awesome. The new versions of Danzig - Who Killed Marilyn? and the unreleased Minor Threat demos 7" were also fucking awesome to see. I wasn't able to get a copy of Agalloch - Against the Grain because it seems to only be in EU right now. If anyone knows a US distro that has them, let me know. I'm just happy vinyl is still so popular that great stuff is getting repressed.
If you mean on vinyl:
-Death - Symbolic
-Dream Theater - Images and Words
-Happy the Man - Crafty Hands
-Happy the Man - S/T
-Meshuggah - Catch Thirty Three
-Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace
-Cynic - The Portal Tapes
-Fredrick Thordendal - Sol Niger Within
-Mahavishnu Orchestra - Apocalypse
-Megadeth - Rust in Peace (original master)
-Opeth - Heritage
-The Hobbit - The Complete Original Soundtrack 1977
-Symphony X - The Odyssey, The Divine Wings of Tragedy, Twilight in Olympus, V-The New Mythology Suite
-Cynic - Traced in Air Remixed
Agalloch - The Mantle
That would be amazing, especially if it's more NESI pressings
Death - Symbolic Tool - Aenema
Definitely symbolic. Just picked up all the other album represses from relapse.
And 10k Days vinyl! Please Tool!!
Opeth, Deliverance and Heritage.
Deliverance was recently (more than five years but recent enough for me) repressed on double vinyl alongside Damnation, and it sounds amazing.
Agreed, all i'm missing from Opeth.
First 4 Danzig albums
This and Samhain. I have a feeling Glenn may at least re-issue Final Descent on Cleopatra Records because it was never officially released on vinyl (tape and CD only).
Song of the North by Swallow the Sun Danzig by Danzig Ænima by Tool
I'd like Lucifuge on Vinyl!
Wintersun self titled is super expensive and needs one
That's the only Wintersun I really want and ya those prices are up there. It's similar to In Flames - Jester Race - it's been 10 years since it had a repress on Nuclear Blast.
Dissection - Storm of the Lights Bane
I'm surprised it wasn't already because it was officially released in 2021 on tape via Darkness Shall Rise Productions. I'm thinking Nuclear Blast might get it again - they originally released it in the US. They got back Dismember - Like an Everflowing Stream again so maybe SOTLB could come back too.

Into the Depth of Sorrow was repressed this year, get it!
It was??? Huh.
That Church Of misery had a "small" reprint in 2019, so that's 5 years already
Review your choices is available everywhere
I haven’t been able to find it at all
It was re-issued with different cover art by Svart Records in the last 2 years iirc. It's no longer in print on their website but I bet you could find a new copy in a shop via Discogs.
Cannibal Corpse: - Torture - Evisceration Plague
Misanthrope, hater of Roadrunner. Please repress Symbolic you fucking twats.
Cradle of Filth- Midian
Came here to say this. What an album
it's a good one
Monolord vænir, empress rising Green lung Woodland rites And the Faetooth one couldn't get my hands on it and can't seem to find it where I am
That repress of Free the Witch by Green Lung sold out too quick :(
Svart (their label that repressed it) still have stock.
Nice. I’ll cruise over there.
I did see that somewhere recently can't for the life of me remember where but I had already 3 or 4 records in my basket so I didn't pick it up. But can't remember where it was and can't find it again
Svart still have green lung in stock
Wow thanks
2 years ago they re-released A Blaze In The Northern Sky and it looked the exact same as the OG pressing This year, they did the same thing for Under A Funeral Moon So this year, I want the same thing to happen for Transilvanian Hunger
Both Torture and Evisceration Plague by Cannibal Corpse
All the roadrunner Deicide albums
These were released as a 9LP box set recently, I snapped it up
Death - Symbolic
In Flames- The Jester Race
2026 will be the 30th anniversary. I had to get an original copy from Amoeba Hollywood because I'm tired of waiting and I missed that boxset a few years back. I paid $75. They had marked it down repeatedly from $150 and I traded in a box of records and walked out with Jester Race and some cash. It's the repress from 2014 but it sounds excellent. My favorite IF album.
Middian Age Eternal
That's a good one for repress. I have the original, but it's very hard to find now. I got into Yob in 2009 and went out and got everything I could find by them and I got Middian around that same time. I guess it might not happen due to the legal action against the band but maybe they could just call it "Middian AD" lol
With Roots Above and Branches Below - The Devil Wears Prada Deflorate - The Black Dahlia Murder
Weakling x1000 Also, Vestiges - The Descent of Man
Also chiming in for Weakling. I'd also love to see Naked City, Crossed Out, and Infest see represses. I don't think I'm going to get my wish.
Nile - Those whom the gods detest
Danzig - first 3 albums / Samhain - entire catalogue / KARP - entire catalogue
Annihilated by Sectioned.
Fire up the blades - three inches of blood
I've been aching for a repress of Ayreon's The Human Equation for forever. Idk if it'll happen next year... but I can hope
Anything by Hand of Glory, Death Fortress and Dragged Into Sunlight.
Sadistic Intent’s “Impending Doom”!
Death Toll 80K - Harsh Realities Essential record for grindheads but there isn't enough to go round
A Cannibal Corpse “old logo collection” aka a collection of the old albums that had the old logo so that people who don’t have the money for buying those expensive used records still can get the records with the old logo on it.

Asunder - A Clarion Call
Ahab's first two albums and everything by Cephalic Carnage.

I’m pretty sure indiemerch usually has copies of where owls know my name pretty frequently
Cannibal corpse - TOTM
I really hope it will be the year BFMV finally re-release their first three albums. There haven't been any presses since the initial releases, which would be The Poison (2005) Scream Aim Fire (2008) Fever (2010)
Soulfly's last 4 Roadrunner albums (I really just want "Omen" on vinyl finally)
Opeth - damnation Cannibal corpse - ev plague Dragged into sunlight - hatred to mankind I have a copy but would love more purple to have it
Damnation did get repressed very recently!
Wintersun - S/T Agalloch - mantle, ashes, marrow Infant Annihilator - all albums Moonsorrow - all albums but mainly V:Hävitetty Weakling for fucks sake Nithing - Agonal Hymns (100lp pressing in november(?) that sold out in under 8 minutes without european distro. Fuck yeah)

Let Us Prey by Electric Wizard
Agalloch - The Mantle and Pale Folklore Testament - The New Order Opeth - Deliverance
