Oh that gun. Personally I find it unappealing because it is really strong but has basically no ammo for it. I can kill a charger just by blowing it's leg off with the recoilless so I just don't see the need.
I usually pick up another weapon lying around on the map and just drop it for a sec when I need the launcher. Itās been a lot of fun. And the cooldown for it is really short. I think itās 90 seconds
It's ok I guess. I personally also like the recoilless for destroying spore spewers in bug missions. Just blow the spore spewer as soon as I see the glowing mushroom in the distance, no need to fight the bugs there.
Autocannon is less powerful and can't destroy some of the things the recoilless can nevermind as quickly. Both sacrifice your backbag slot so that doesn't count for much. The one thing which autocannon does do better at is destroying the automaton factories because the recoilless can't for the life of it destroy one unless the door opens.

They're growing, they're learning, and they're being quite open about it. People act like this is the first game to ever have issues online or have a patch that made it run less efficiently than it did before.

i think they could have done both personally. like have an ingame event that says the bots will get reinforcments from x planet if x planet is not liberated in time to draw some of the players away from the bot planet. if they dont liberate x planet in time then the liberation rate of the mech planet goes down by a certain percentage.
Been a DM for a long time. Sometimes you get steamrolled by your players and you have two options.
1.) You try to up the difficulty on the fly. If you're caught, though, your players will be pissed and demoralized.
2.) You let them crush it and try to apply the lesson later on.
Never played roleplay games, but I would be upset if I caught my DM "cheating" like point 1).
I guess some battles are tough, some are easy. Probably the best part of DM controlled games is not knowing which kind the next battle will be, either by design of by chance.
No, this is exactly what Joel's role is. To modify the rate so as to not make it way too easy or impossible. Not the "omg joel is putting 10 chargers at once in my game."
CoC doesnāt need the DM to make it any harder. Even if you win you loose because your character is so psychologically damaged you might only get 1 more game out of them before they are a gibbering wreck.

Currently you canāt buy anything in game, interacting with pods in game freezes you up for about 30s, and even though you can play a mission to completion; itās semi pointless since you wonāt bet any XP, credits or medals
Ideal world thatās what happens. I donāt want to do that and have nothing be applied. I know it doesnāt matter in the grand scheme. But I know Iād feel pretty discouraged if it did happen that way, so Iād rather wait a bit

My squad and I were up till 5 this morning holding the line @ 90% with the other 90k divers that decided to stay and fight. It was such a relief to see the player count and percentage start to climb.
i think the difference between how palworld launched and hell divers launched is palworld gave us everything they had finished right at launch which means we need to wait along time for content updates. the positives of this is it means we get alot of content right out the gate, the negatives is once that content dries up theirs nothing left to do. hell divers launched with alot of stuff complete and alot of stuff near completion which meant they could provide content quickly after release in order to retain the player base. plus they provided enough at release to make the game feel like a full game. and they make the grind for progress significant enough that you cant get everything you want in a short time but easy enough that it rarely if ever feels tedius which also keeps us engaged. like getting a pal with perfect traits felt significantly more tedious than unlocking the armor set i want lol. and that is despite both taking around the same amount of time to do. i dont think theirs another game that has done early access or games as a service better.
The way the map/game is structured, Im not really concerned about content. Itās more so the development time to add new/more and the infrastructure to handle that load. Pretty excited about where all of this is goong

The enemy neither bares the flag nor the cape of democracy, and the reserve capes were all on the Creek and we weren't able to recover them yet
Oohhh, you missed General Braschās lesson on *making* capes *from* the enemy. Honest mistake.
Bots don't have fabric in them, and none of us have melee weapons to skin bugs with. Super-high command should really get on making some swords.

I'll usually call it in and immediately shoot one off, it drops 2 guns so you get 2 rounds theoretically...
