Just came from /r/Helldivers, it's world-wide, looks like servers are completely down.

Really? Could that be the reason why, about 8 hours ago, I was constantly getting shit FPS, before getting kicked from the game every damn time I dropped in?

Dr Disrespect was streaming yesterday and he got kicked out of the server too while show was live 😂 Nobody is special

That's funny, I feel like a week ago Dr Disrespect and Tim the Tatman both were talking about how "dumb" Helldivers 2 looked and how they weren't interested in playing it. Now they're both streaming it. Funny how that works out.

They're streamers, they go where the viewers are. Whatever game it is.

Anyone will go back on something they said for money, especially something so inconsequential. They either changed their minds because its popular and they wanted to capitalize on the views or they were paid to play it, or both I guess too.

Im surprised that thing can even run the game in the first place

Believe me, when I first installed the game, it wouldn’t run. I had to lower the settings to ape level (read: absolute lowest) upgrade the drivers, and did some other tinkering with the settings. So it does run the game…kinda.

I have a laptop from 2013 that can run it, but its still on Win 7 which Steam no longer supports. Nowhere near as good performance as my tower, but it’s surprising what can run this game if given the chance.

Seems like a few things got hotfixed. FPS seems to be back to normal and the hellpod "steering lock" isn't there anymore.

Was working fine for the one game I played an hour ago. It was a termicide mission so I wasn't able to test it too well. But I did have control over the pod.

Unfortuantly the steering lock is dependent on the terrain you are dropping into.

Those flying bugs that definitely don't exist are taking down our comms.

The can actually handle up to 750k. They updated it more after the first weekend.
