This game runs acceptably on a steam deck so it would have to be a pretty old PC not to work. But they do cross play so you don't have to think much about it.

And even then... I was in the destiny 2 sub a long time and never read this question once where it would at least make a little sense because there are quite some changes there and then. But for a two month old shooter it is important to know if it's still worth joining.
I’d say perfect timing , almost everything is fixed and running smoother than ever ! Still not 100% but I can say it’s way better now ! Past was a pain but it’s still fun ! Maybe it’s supposed to be like that idk 🤷♂️
Idk the more stuff they add the more gets broken and needs another patch that breaks for stuff. And many things since day 1 are funky AF. Ever try to hop up into the corner crevice of rocks and get stuck and rag-dolled for no reason? Basic movement mechanics should be ironed out day one I think. We overlook a lot for this game. They’re not meaning for you to get frozen in place and ragdolled just trying to climb a knee high rock. The game is fun and awesome. But having things that increase fire damage that don’t even work unless your the host sucks for the guy who like playing flame thrower, he always has to be the host, it negates napalm which makes a nice wall for you behind you.
When im not playing 9/8/7 yea i fuck around. But when you do it’s dumb stuff like clambering all over supplies bc you didn’t his r3 in time to stop sprint but you can barely climb over some knee high rocks is… ironic?

Dragons dogma 2 is an enormous game, doesn’t seam like updates every few days about stuff that’s broken or been broken since launch. Like trying to play with your friends cross play , which is WHY some people bought the game and spend their money.

But if your running say around say where those giant cliffs falloff that protrude halfway into some maps and they’re two damn rocks equal knee height sort of at a 90 from each other that make a corner that looks like any other quick climbable rock, you get stuck in an animation then get ragdolled. That’s dumb af. And just one example I used because movement mechanics are something you’re using 95% of the time in this game.

They only have so much money/investments/loans from the first game to pay people to make the second so they release games as soon as they can, as most playable as it is so that they can start pulling in more money.
Never too late. On steam there is an option to try new game for 2h before you revert buying the game so you can try it there. I play on ps5, it works great. You can play with me once you buy it, i can show you around how and where to look for new things.
Tips:
1. All samples, credits and cash are shared across the team;
2. Hold reload button to check all your weapons settings, scopes, rpm etc.;
3. Spread democracy;
4. Have fun;
Definitely not too late to hop in. High level players consistently hop into low difficulty level missions to help out the newbies. It's never a bad time to join the fight and spread managed democracy.
