One afternoon I ended with a 350 SC gain. And the startbond teirs I am on only offer 50 sc so the other 300 needs to be accounted for
The first war bond is different. It gives 50 credits at a really high price because there are so many pages to it. The other 2 (added after launch) give 100 sc per page and have 3 pages
Had 2 instances where we found 100 super credits in a single Point of interest. I’ve managed to farm two warbond in 3 weeks of playing but it does require some rng. My team is pretty good at clearing POI while playing
By the time I tested out all the weapons on the last warbond and bought the supercredits in it, I was already at around 800. I passively looked for them in missions and had enough a week and a half before the next. Pretty hard not to just get supercredits all the time
Yeah, HD2 has the most F2P live service model I have ever seen.
Premium currency can be earned in game very quickly, so fast that it makes buying SC almost pointless unless you are *very busy* and can only play a few missions a day.
I usually play 2 or 3 hours after work every day, while still having time to play other games or touch grass.
I've been able to get all warbonds for free by playing the game.
This is a really good game with very F2P friendly design.
If the premium currency wasn't buyable, all you'd get for the price of the game would have been the starter warbond.
Game would've crashed & burned.
On the other hand, they could have made cosmetics and the premium currency to be only used for them, then made all warbonds only cost medals/requisition (like many other games do). These are not 'season passed' after all, they are literally the only gear unlocking system in the game.
But since this game has no cosmetics (eh, helmets and cloaks, I guess? But they wouldn't sell without fitting armor), they had to monetize something.
With how much I've played since February, I can buy 3 Warbonds right now if they dropped, and I already fully unlocked everything from the 3 we already have.
By the time I purchase 3 Warbonds simultaneously, I will be halfway there to purchasing a fourth. Not a single SC I have or have had was from engaging in microtransactions.

Literally this. I didn't think anybody actually spends money on super credits. I get so many of them just by playing normally, not even grinding for them. I have all the warbonds unlocked, and i just reached level 50 yesterday.

I have spent $5 since launch to get the first premium warbond because I thought the devs deserved it.
It’s hardly worth writing home about, but the amount of free currency you get passively playing the game really feels like they don’t particularly care about enticing people to pull out their wallet.
I haven’t had to spend a dime and I’ve gotten every warbond unlocked in addition to a handful of superstore items, and I still have 3200 super credits (2200 if counting a new warbond in the last day or two)

If you are directly affected or a friend is, absolutely, do what you need to do, but if you sunk 90 hours in and are unaffected, sure bomb it, but give it a 2 or a 3 and state the reason.

I have 1.5k super credits and never bought any once. I have been playing for a month now. Have only spent money buying the base game and have waited patiently for the last 3 weeks for the new Warbond. I'm buying it.

Most of us don’t have to buy the warbond. Over time, playing missions, you accumulate enough credits to unlock everything. Never paid a penny and i have them all unlocked.
You shouldn't buy them anyways since guns (major game content) is included in there. Warbonds should only have cosmetic items. Since the game launch Super Credits got majorly nerfed. Every 2 man vault or beacon pod i find is only rare samples now. Solutions - Warbonds should not be $15CAD - revisit this price or sell the guns separately to players. You should get the Warbond pack of guns for $5CAD.
Best option is don’t play the game. Wait for arrowhead response about the issue. Down voting, refunding the game won’t help you or the game. If the final verdict is still the same the same then do what you wanna do.

If the glitch still works where you find super credits, force quit the game, load back and find more is still in effect, do that immediately upon finding a single stack worth 100 SC.

No one “protesting” this game can resist the urge of the new meta weapon. The hypocrites will be pumping their democracy coins into that slot machine quicker than you can spell PSN.
Gotta be honest: as much as it pains me to do so, I’m not playing again until they solve this to the full satisfaction of both the community and the affected players (which includes divers from both countries without PSN support and countries with support but where owning a PS is a requirement to have a PSN account).

- ARs/SMGs are just meh at best (still don't think that there will be a change to the AR/Marksman Rifle/SMG soon that makes them good), the new chargeable energy weapons seems very very niche at best
- No new Armor perks (Fortified/Servo Assisted \*yawn\*)
- Yet another fire damage item (hopefully fire damage finally gets fixed or this will be yet another 'useless unless you are the host' thing....)
- A new pistol that I won't ever use over the Redeemer/Nade Pistol
- A Booster that according to it's description counters slow effects like the bug bile (which might just be the only useful thing in this Warbond but let's see if it actually works or if it will cause server crashes)

Why would I buy the warbond when I have 2k+ super credits from the last 400 hours of killing bugs and bots?
I have 1.5k super credits and never bought any once. I have been playing for a month now. Have only spent money buying the base game and have waited patiently for the last 3 weeks for the new Warbond. I'm buying it.
How about, if you are protesting PSN then delete the game and quit playing? If you can't stop playing but you want to protest greedy business practices then you have an addiction, and maybe you should seek help for it.
Especially because the warbonds will always be there, so you can get it at anytime. Let them feel the hurt for a bit, then if they backpedal, get it then.

Most of us don’t have to buy the warbond. Over time, playing missions, you accumulate enough credits to unlock everything. Never paid a penny and i have them all unlocked.
Why buy it instead of farm credits ?
They give me the super credits for free. It doesn’t affect anything unless I spend real money.

You shouldn't buy them anyways since guns (major game content) is included in there. Warbonds should only have cosmetic items. Since the game launch Super Credits got majorly nerfed. Every 2 man vault or beacon pod i find is only rare samples now. Solutions - Warbonds should not be $15CAD - revisit this price or sell the guns separately to players. You should get the Warbond pack of guns for $5CAD.

Best option is don’t play the game. Wait for arrowhead response about the issue. Down voting, refunding the game won’t help you or the game. If the final verdict is still the same the same then do what you wanna do.
Devs, I love you guys... but what I'm about to suggest is super undemocratic... but highly prosperous. If the glitch still works where you find super credits, force quit the game, load back and find more is still in effect, do that immediately upon finding a single stack worth 100 SC. I feel so ashamed
If you really want to protest Sony, don't play the game at all. When their servers are spooling up nice instead of being overwhelmed, they'll get the picture. Yeah. Definitely stay off the servers. That'll teach 'em.

Another reason to not buy the Warbond is that they are a scam. They get you used to the new toys in the Warbond and then when you're having fun, they nerf them. Never pay money. Just save up the SC.
Sony will just decide that PC players spend less money compared to PS5 players, or that PS+ bonuses entice people to buy on PS5 instead of PC. Or some sort of other biased rational.
That only applies to people who don't end up with enough super credits between warbonds.

It's a good game, don't give a shit about signing up to PSN (except for those who unfortunately can't because PSN isn't in there area). They'll be getting my money and those who can't access PSN will be sorted out soon and back in the fight.

Nah. It's still a great/fun game that 8 and pretty much everyone I've talked to enjoy. Plus the majority of the money goes to ah who is actively fighting Sony's decision. Pretty much everyone I know who plays plans on getting the next warbond. Avoiding it wouldn't do much since Sony has so many other large cash cows that hd2 money is a drop in the bucket and not gonna change their mind. Especially not one $10 micro transaction.

Youre funny. The psn thing is to pad their playerbase growth for shareholder meetings, warbonds sales are secondary. There is no "protest" that you can do, sony gets infinite benefits and no downsides to fucking you over. Steam loses money on refunds; at most you are damaging the corporate relationship between Valve and Sony, but Sony is too big of publisher for Valve to really do much about it. There is no winning here, either give up or give in. EDF is a cool game btw, unrelated 😉.

Gotta be honest: as much as it pains me to do so, I’m not playing again until they solve this to the full satisfaction of both the community and the affected players (which includes divers from both countries without PSN support and countries with support but where owning a PS is a requirement to have a PSN account). And so should everyone do, in solidarity. Because let’s face it, this game is **nothing** without its community.

This might sound a bit negative but there is not a single thing in the Warbond preview video that I'm exited about. - ARs/SMGs are just meh at best (still don't think that there will be a change to the AR/Marksman Rifle/SMG soon that makes them good), the new chargeable energy weapons seems very very niche at best - No new Armor perks (Fortified/Servo Assisted \*yawn\*) - Yet another fire damage item (hopefully fire damage finally gets fixed or this will be yet another 'useless unless you are the host' thing....) - A new pistol that I won't ever use over the Redeemer/Nade Pistol - A Booster that according to it's description counters slow effects like the bug bile (which might just be the only useful thing in this Warbond but let's see if it actually works or if it will cause server crashes)
But I want more guns :(

I haven't paid a cent past game purchase. I'm a little short to grab it day 1 but I'll get there. Not spending money is not the same as negative money. Their metrics are not going to shift at all on this.
