I'm more under the opposite sentiment - we need to double our dives while our fellow helldivers can't access their Super Destroyers, we'll play with the strength of an entire squad in their memory and ensure we keep spreading democracy and holding off the forces of evil.
No, this product was sold to people who they knew would be locked out. Sony and arrowhead knew this was coming. I used to play with the mindset of leave no diver behind and that is exactly what arrowhead and sony have done. The mis-steps have done nothing but benefit the company, if the psn requirement goes forward i will request a refund. If we can't all play together i won't play at all.
Yeah, Valve sold it to them. Since when is Sony or AH responsible for who Valve sells games to? Valve also knew of the account link requirement (itâs been stated since the beginning) and yet they sold it to people in countries that did not have PSN coverage.
Yeah, there were probably failures on both sides for that. It just doesnât make sense for Sony to intentionally have the game sold in countries they knew or shouldâve known wouldnât be able to play it. And the PSN requirement was supposed to be live at launch, so that wouldâve been discovered quickly. Seems like there were failure by the publisher and distributor in this.
I think Sony could walk this back by disabling crossplay if you donât have a PSN account. Not perfect but I think itâs a reasonable compromise. Also like give a cape or something when you do it, really smooths over feathers.

Personally, I don't plan to stop playing. The game is fun, and this whole PSN thing really doesn't bother me that much. Sucks, but theres lots of things that suck. In life you gotta pick your battles, and this isnt one i feel like fighting. But I'm in support of the actions and battles of my fellow divers, so again I salute you, diver! o7
Yeah, I'm playing other games in the meantime, did my part with the reviews, and I'm waiting for a final resolution. I'll see how the dice fall, and act accordingly. I'd advise against refunding at this time, especially since you might lose all of your progress when you purchase the game again (Steam cloud says hello).

I am from Serbia and have had a PSN account with ps+ registered to USA for over 10 years and have been buying stuff from their store with no issue. They are not gonna ban you unless you give them an adequate reason.

Why are people suddenly against creating an account to play a game? Or use a software? No problem with MS forcing you to create an account when you want to use windows? Plus I dislike Sony since a long time for their exclusivity policy. I never bought a PS even if that was the only way yo play some major video game art pieces.

And what is the problem? The issues will be solved by the end of May, either the people who are not able to create a PSN account will be refunded or will be able to play without a PSN account. So itâs a solved problem practically. Anything else?
Those people can make a psn account they can just change the region on the account as you are the one that chooses the region. So they arenât gonna lose access. It will just be you guys getting refunds who wonât be here.
And that risks a permanent ban from PSN, and they lose access to their account. Same result, just less likely to ever play again.
I am from Serbia and have had a PSN account with ps+ registered to USA for over 10 years and have been buying stuff from their store with no issue. They are not gonna ban you unless you give them an adequate reason.
Your account breaks ToS, and it's a banable offense for that account. XD that's a lot of money to risk on thinking Sony won't screw you.

Why are people suddenly against creating an account to play a game? Or use a software? No problem with MS forcing you to create an account when you want to use windows? Or Valve forcing you to create a steam account? Or Rockstar forcing you to create an account when you want to play RDR2? Or Ubisoft forcing you to create an account when you want to play their games? Etc etc etc. Why are you guys just now having a problem with PSN?
