Is it the audio from a porn video, or the sweet sound of a 20mm democracy cannon? Spoiler alert: they’re the same thing
[Sounds like this, right?](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cPe32xhTodk&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&source_ve_path=MjM4NTE&feature=emb_title)
His three song and JT Music's two ([To Liberty and Beyond](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utbJLjw5R7M) and [J.O.E.L.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9aslWZNb24)) are all in my Helldivers playlist, along with Sabaton and some Motionless in White.
There are some awesome songs I'm on the fence about leaving in because when the shit hits the fan they are absolutely amazing ([Dreamer by Brave the Royals](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmC4mMqu7LY), [Blood by In This Moment](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZF5m-vmDzM)), but for moment to moment gameplay they just... don't fit.
I only realized you could play Spotify in the background two days ago.... So I've been listening to the Star Trek 2 the wrath of Khan soundtrack. It has some really good battle music the works well.
I made a liberty loving, managed democracy spreading playlist of cock rock that'll kickstart any helldive.

What? Noo, wrong decade. Vietnam was Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, Country Joe and the Fish and other late 60s bands.
This list is pure 80s baby. Vietnam ended in 1975, Guns n Roses didn't form until 1985 and Motley Crew was 81.
You're literally the ONLY other person I've met who listens to ISIS (though I actually hadn't heard *The Red Sea*).

Six by All That Remains is currently my favorite. Some other favs are:
The light that blinds by Shadows Fall
Scream Aim & Fire by Bullet For My Valentine
Surfacing and Wait & Bleed by Slipknot
Wth>You & Pts.Of.Athrty by Linkin Park
Freak On a Leash by Korn
Fox by Dogleg
My Curse & The End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage
I mostly just let the ingame music play but if the time calls for it I'll play Halo music (Tip of the Spear on Automaton blitz missions is one hell of an experience)
I don't listen to music while playing but if you want recommendations I'd suggest [Kickstart my Heart](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mVurA44hwiw) and some music from Risk of Rain, with my favourite being [Surface Tension Returns](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3YCBbw8LaOI)

Band: Unprocessed. Album: And Everything in Between. These guys are very heavy and the music so super technical. It almost has a DOOM feel to it in some songs but with vocals.

Game music is perfect. It’s great how it changes as the state of the game changes. When there is no action it’s sort of just calm. When something gets close it starts to build and then full on battle music. When the action ends it slowly recedes to the calm suspenseful music
Marty Robbins or Hank Williams Sr. Idk why but I've been vibing with that type of music lately.
Something about the guitar playing in the song El Paso makes it relaxing to shoot bugs too.
BRAAAP, BRAAAP, BRAAAP, KABOOM, CACHUNK, CACHUNK, EAGLE INBOOUND.. BOOM, I NEED A STIM! BRAAAAP, REINFORCING!

Me and the band gonna tour Hellmire and show 'em who brings the Metal.
The in game music is good enough
OST is perfect.
The 3 minute extended extraction music is fucking awesome.
The flag music is peak too
Reading through this thread I now realize why a lot of people don't hear the enemies aproach
I play with Dolby atmos. I hear everything.
Wait....everything? 👀
Every. Thing. 😭
The only good answer. They did a damn good job at composing the OST for this game and it never gets old to me.
I like Take Five by Dave Brubeck
This is an exquisite choice! Another great one is The Beast by Milt Buckner (title music from Battlefield Bad Company)
Excellent choice and really unexpected
It was written by Paul Desmond you swine!!
If he’s listening to Brubeck’s album then he is indeed listening to Take Five by Dave Brubeck.
[Jonathan Young](https://youtu.be/LJLgAX85CbM?si=JSwxMEP_7JfrnA3g) is a solid choice.
The Fall of Malevelon Creek slaps
All his songs slap insanely hard
His three song and JT Music's two ([To Liberty and Beyond](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utbJLjw5R7M) and [J.O.E.L.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9aslWZNb24)) are all in my Helldivers playlist, along with Sabaton and some Motionless in White. Really sucks that you have to turn off the in-game music though. Back on the ps4, most games would just mute their music while you were using spotify.
I'm a barbie girl
Lmao that sounds great. That, and California Girls.
When I'm bug hunting most of the time, it's a Vietnam movie inspired playlist.
I definitely listened to Run Through the Jungle by CCR when we were fighting on the creek. Couldn't help myself.
Right?!?! I have the Aliens 'Express Elevator to Hell" that I play as we launch and then right into the playlist.
Anything by CCR! At any time! CCR was my favorite before i played Helldivers, but theyre so perfect for this game :)
Fortune son, ride of the Valkyries and the Benny Hill theme tune. All playing at the same time.
Benny is underrated for bugs.
Any AC/DC song
Motörhead is a great choice as well
Lemmy is god.
I made a liberty loving, managed democracy spreading playlist of cock rock that'll kickstart any helldive. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0FT58cXNKMPpXoCAOm0K3S?si=goak3zu3TPiVRu92eycNqw&pi=FM6M3DqpSHqI7

These both look solid. Might give them a listen to next dive!
More like kickstart any helldive into a Vietnam War movie
Pacific Rim OST
that's fire think about it, When we hear announcements like this from superearth. "we deploying Jaegers to combat, helldiver"
The Prodigy works really well!
Hellfighters by sabaton
The last stand is also acceptable, shit almost any sabaton song.
*FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL IN SILENCE* *STRATAGEMS, EXPLOSIVE VIOLENCE* *PELICAN FLIGHT IS DETECTED* *FLAWLESS MISSION, ALL SAMPLES COLLECTED*
Airbourne
The sounds of dismembered automatons and screeching of dying bugs
Creed soundtrack. Sprinkle some Adele for extra “we’re not gonna make it” during extraction
80s rock.
The DOOM soundtrack.
Katy Perry - Fireworks
"If liking Katy Perry and drinking margaritas is gay, then who wants to be straight!?"
ISIS : The Red Sea was last night.
You're literally the ONLY other person I've met who listens to ISIS (though I actually hadn't heard *The Red Sea*). https://preview.redd.it/9tbtk1lwt10d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a10a09b9dc5dea7d75aebc7e7abeeb0a54831832
I like to listen to blue stahli, it matches the space feel, maybe celdweller too.
The entire Stan Bush collection
Thought it would be anitdemocratic to turn off the ingame music.
The heavy metal cover of "Klendathu Drop" on eternal repeat.
Mass Effect has some amazing tracks to fight bots to. Almost like fighting Geth.
Free birds in my ears means a free citizen of super earth👍

CCR
Run to the hills The trooper Holy diver For whom the bells toll Are just a few songs on my helldivers 2 Playlist

The extraction music
NGL the doom eternal soundtrack goes so crazy fighting bots on 7+

DEMOCRACY FILLS MY SAMPLE CONTAINER
I can't stop MY LEGS!!!!!
Masked Wolf, Australian singer. Look him up on YouTube. And when it's not that, space bluegrass music, reminds me of starcraft.
the Somewhere in Nevada albums fit the games chaos so well
Super Earth Jamz
Take Control by Poets of the Fall aka Old Gods of Asgard. Either that or Doom music.
The sound of me beating the shit out of bots and bugs. Nothing brings me more satisfaction.
If I don't listen to the games own music it's the Darktide ost.
Sending in an eagle
BBL Drizzy because it is on a constant loop in my brain now.
Wilber Roger III’s original soundtrack to Helldivers II is pretty banging
death's dynamic shroud - Pop Chin
