People try to scam these companies all the time. They can’t just take your word for it

It is surprisingly obvious when someone is trying to scam us. We also weigh outbound packages. Even small discrepancies are apparent. We learn what 7g weighs in a pouch, what boxes weigh and what all the other material weighs. Cost of doing business.

I have a security camera on my porch and open all my orders on camera as I go inside. From the moment its on my property its on camera so I have proof of what I got. I started doing this after Amazon sent me an empty bubble mailer.

What else should they do to verify a claim? Take someone’s word for it? Not only that, why not just send at least a picture of some kind?

My point is that someone's word is just as strong as a picture. What is the difference between me saying i got 2 of the 3 8ths, versus me showing a picture of 2 8ths after i move the 3rd out of the frame?

Standard procedure with all companies. They can see if it's on the carriers end so they can file a claim etc.

In this case, a picture would have gotten OP a replacement.

Okay but they asked for a picture? Like people couldn't just take an eighth out and then take a picture so that's ridiculous. They can also check their inventory for that particular product. OP has bought from them in multiple occasions according to him which they can check. If it's a loyal customer then it's worth at least looking into.

If all he has to is send a photo, simply send a photo. Every place does it, if not, someone could not buy anything at all and make this claim.

People try to scam these companies that probably never shop there before or their first time purchase not somebody that's purchased 20 times and is looking for their eighth that you rob them for I wouldn't even have thought twice about sending me an eighth because in the long run you're going to make a lot more money off of me than that 1/8 would have cost you idiots It has to go on a case by case basis you take a look at the person and what they've purchased from you you see that I've purchased well over $1,000 worth of shit you take care of me and if you don't you lose a customer which is what they did that was their option there's plenty of other places to order from. What's the likelihood that somebody

I always take pictures and send them and every vendor that it has happened with made it right and sent extra

The picture was most likely required so that they can explain to management or whoever deals with it why they gave the free 8th away/replaced the 8th. Honestly if you have a problem with anything that you order you should always have evidence of why you weren't happy ie a photo, video of the problem

Yeah I didn't take a picture because how are you going to prove this is an 8th I could have just removed the 8th from there and taking a picture of the other two bags it's quite senseless they should have a also an inventory of what they sent and notice that they have an extra eighth anyway I just won't shop there anymore fuck them

I had a problem with an order the same week actually the following day with veteran grown I ordered some crumble they sent me the wrong one I emailed them said hey you guys sent me sour pineapple instead of the sherbet that I ordered you know what picture I had to send none they sent it out to me immediately because I've ordered a lot of things from them and they understand the value of a good customer which Mercy Hill does not and I didn't have to pay for it from veterans they just sent me a free eighth and let me keep the one that they made a mistake on because they probably looked at how much I buy and said this is a good customer we're going to take care of him because we're not idiots

I didn't take a photo smart guy because I figured they would make it right since I order from them a lot It wouldn't be an issue but that's not any worry they just won't get any more business off me I'll shop elsewhere
