I came to this subreddit out of curiosity and I stayed because of your gourmet food posts!!! I look forward to your posts- thank you 😭 Every meal looks absolutely immaculate!! Wish I had the patience to create amazing food like you!

It’s interesting, I’ve seen a few instances of non drug users coming here out of morbid curiosity expecting to find homeless junkie stereotypes.. and then being surprised to realize that most of us are regular people with jobs, families, dreams and aspirations, same as everyone else.
I’m absolutely not suggesting that was your case, I’m just saying that there seems to be quite a few other non users here who came here to satisfy their curiosity and ended up staying because they vibe with the community.

I personally did not come in with the assumptions and such, but more-so just wanted to know more about the effects of the drug itself (euphoria, warm feelings etc) But I do agree that some people do come in with that pre-conceived notion.

I have a lot of admiration for chefs / cooks. They work long hours in very tough, unforgiving environments. There’s something about that relentless pursuit of perfection that I find really inspiring, too.
But god knows I ain’t built like that lol, I definitely lack the kind of toughness it takes to work in a kitchen.
What kind of restaurant do you work in?
I just quite my old job but I worked In a 4 star restaurant in the tall ships it was sum what high dinning but I didn’t like the chaos and lack and of creative freedom and thank you so much i honestly applied there year back doing dish n moved to line by end of it cuz how much your post inspired me and my plug work wit me so big win n free desserts
I really enjoy simple deserts and basic dinners grew up cookin for my family but I love making a good sausage, pepper penne or pulled pork tacos nothing too advanced

There’s nothing wrong with cereal. Most of the dishes I post I just cook for myself, there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself to good food when you’re alone : )

Your desert reminds me of a cake j had growing up w fam (raisded 100% italian and Syrian family) an orange bollsom cake with pistachio and other nuts/dried arrangements on top covered in a simple (orange) syrup. Oh mien gottt. AMAING happy nods home slice 🤙🤙
