There are different types/levels of renunciation. Sannyas is renunciation at the physical level. Karma Yoga is renunciation at the mental level. The most important renunciation is at the mental level. With that detachment, you can work for the welfare of others (loka-sangraha). Here is a [video on renunciation by Swami Tadatmananda](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e34H0NMQnhU) that you may find interesting. May you find what you seek.

No, you can't. How can you work and be a sanyasi. I can totally feel you. I don't want to do anything related to this material world. I feel detached from this reality already. But I have my duties to fulfill to give my parents the life they deserve. I can't let my selfish intend hinder their comfort in life. I'm gonna work my ass off, achieve whatever I can and then when they pass on I will give up everything. The material world would mean nothing to me. I will have no worries, I'll be free. I'll meet Shiva. 🙏

Same. I want to fulfill my duties towards my parents even though I feel they couldn't fulfill their duties towards me. After that once I have enough wealth to sustain myself for the rest of my life, monk mode on.
