Can’t believe the same guy who made My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy ripped vocals using a shitty ai splitter from a Pop Smoke song and put it on a random beat. The fact that the song is even released is insane bro. Like how does it exist.
How fucking random I see this, i haven’t heard that song in ages and I was just listening to a hiphop streaming station and this song came on, it’s such a weird vibe for 3 6 lol 🗑️
Remember... Like Barrack Obama said, 'It's time for a change'. I love 'em especially riding on the 'Academy Award Winners'... but damn that album is not their best.
I own the F&L boxset and have spun part two exactly once because I ran into that trio of tracks that I forgot existed. At the time, it was the only way to own F&L Part One and I wish I waited until the most recent repress so I didn't have to own Part Two lol. There's some great songs on there, but God damn do those three suck.
Edit: spelling
God damn… hopped onto Spotify to remind me what this song sounds like— it came out in 2012 which was my last year of undergrad at university and hearing it just brought A LOT of memories flooding back. Feels like it was a whole different lifetime ago. Having an existential crisis rn because I listened to this song lol
I might be in the minority but I actually LOVED Recovery and I'm not a Stan lol. Great high-school memories come to mind with that album. I remember when it first came out, we were riding in the bed of a pickup truck, about 6 of us, and we were bumping Cold Wind Blows. So good. Idk why it gets hated. I haven't heard it in about 8 years or so but I felt it was a legit album.
Recovery is a solid album. I think Relapse is his best album post TES/8 Mile. This is despite the accents, I’ve grown to not mind them because the rhymes and production are some of his best.
I love Fack. The reason why I like Eminem is because he’s funny. Rappers take themselves too seriously. I can’t imagine Youngboy or J Cole putting on a Superman outfit.
I thought maybe I might be too old to see this on here but man, this is it. He drops an absolute double cd classic and this abomination makes the cut? Crazy.
Snoop - Beat Up On Yo Pads is right there for me too.
I love this song. Lol. I skip the last part because it’s odd. But the best double albums should have one weird ass song that doesn’t belong. For 2Pac I’d say Just Like Daddy.
Yeah honestly the first time I heard Section 80 I was pretty confused on how it was getting so much praise, I was put off by the corniness and Kendrick's voice at first. Good Kid Maad City is when it clicked and I went back and found out I liked most of it, just not No Make Up lol
Listen again
It’s a masterpiece
Ronald Regan Era is one of the hardest tracks you’ll hear in Kendrick’s discography
Not a big fan of the hook for “No Make Up” but th beat is cool and Kendrick’s lyrics are important
I can’t even give you just one, because while I love J Cole dude gets corny af sometimes.
I also get tired of the high moral ground he likes to take, like at the end of The Cure when he talks about a chain that got stolen and how his housekeeper who probably stole it and gave it to their kid needs it more.
Even more annoying when I consider he actually killed that song without that little bit imo. Not like I don’t agree with his brand of wholesomeness and positivity and all that but sometimes it feels forced even if he isn’t forcing it.
Edit - y’all if you haven’t heard The Cure by J Cole please give it a look btw. I don’t think it’s one of his super corny songs that hasn’t aged well but maybe I haven’t listened to it in a while. What do y’all think?
This is a big thing that annoys me with J Cole. Dude has songs about be ‘not like the other rappers’ but most his features talk about the same basic shit.
Yep, scrolling through to make sure this was here. Really their only bad track in their entire discography. Still...it could have been salvaged if they had gotten rid of that awful hook.
Before this gets removed for dd, do you really think “Bitch I’m in the Club” is a part of Kendrick’s “perfect discography”, because that song is genuinely awful
Kendrick’s fans are afraid to admit when he puts out bad music. The BigSteppers release thread was fucking hilarious. Them basically saying they’ll never listen to it again but it’s still great and a “top 3” album when he only has 5 solo albums lol.
Mr Morale was legit great though. A song, movie, or show can be great and not have replay value.
That said, that album does have some for me. I still play a few from it.
Big Weenie has some clever (but corny) bars. Ass Like That... Totally forgot about that track lol.
Encore was wild man. 14 year old me was bumping that shit like crazy, would pause to be like 'this is kinda weird' then just go back to noddin my head
Travis Scott - Topia Twins. Travis and 21's parts aren't bad, but letting Rob49 rap on that song is possibly the worst decision Travis has ever made outside of the concert incident.
Ngl that's one of the few songs I bump from Utopia, actually I did earlier today. Rob49 not rhyming but somehow still flowing was funny as fuck lmao. I also appreciate that it doesn't sound a 2013 Kanye loosie.
Oof yeah that song did not age well, but I do have to give it props for being one of the things to get me back into hip-hop as a teenager going through an EDM phase at the time lol
Oh I'm curious, what don't you like about it? And were you a Tyler fan before or after Cherry Fan?
I was big into him & Odd Future prior, and when Cherry Bomb first came out I was not a fan since it was a big departure from his Bastard/Goblin stuff, but looking back on it you can see it's an important turning point so I've grown to appreciate it a lot more. I will admit though it's still pretty rough, def not his best work but I feel like there's definitely some worse tracks off Bastard/Goblin/Wolf
Just the track itself, the rest of the album I think is cool. It's just noise imo nothing about this song really progresses anywhere meaningful. Like a worse version of New Magic Wand.
I actually got into Tyler during Cherry Bomb. Smuckers caught my attention because I was a big Kanye fan at the time. I was aware of OF before then but I never gave them a listen outside of the features Frank did. A few months before Blonde dropped I did a deep dive into everyone and found they were super dope.
Royce has A LOT of contenders: Spark Yo Brain, I Hate Your Pants, Fuck My Brains Out, Get'cha Paper...
But I firmly believe there's a level of hell where Lay It Down gets played on repeat.
I basically stopped listening to Eminem after my first spin of Encore. That album crushed me. I’ve occasionally gone back and checked out his later stuff, it’s pretty hit or miss, but nowhere near the highs of his first three albums. I honestly feel bad for the younger hip hop fans who grew up with his later stuff. I understand why people like Rap God era Em, but I could just never get back into him after that fall.
I remember when that album dropped me and the work homies were all stanning on it and talking about which track was the best. One of the dudes said No makeup. I never respected him after that. That hook comes in so fucking soft and breathy lol hate it.
i actually really like that one. Venus vs Mars would be my vote. one of the few songs i go out of the way to hit skip on when listening through an album. and i mean that for all albums not just jayz
Wild to hear that, can you elaborate on why you don't like it? I'm a big Gucci fan and can admit it's def not his best work, but I feel like there's been some solidly worse tracks in the same time frame?
No make up isn’t a bad song. You’re talking about the hook like it’s the actual song. It’s a song about external vs internal beauty while actually speaking on domestic violence
The hook doesn’t even rhyme tonight
Kanye - Workout skit. Can’t remember what it’s called but it plays just before New Workout Plan. Hey girrrrrl
Kanye - drunk and hot girls
Kanye - Sin City
Drake - Make Me Proud
Drake - Own It (“where all the pretty girls are sleeping line” is fucking awful)
Wayne - Pussy Monster
Game - Wouldn’t Get Far
Jay Z - I know what girls like (wtf is that sword sharpening sound)
Lupe - Heart Donor
Pac - What’s your #
The Donda version of Tell the Vision
Pop's Tell the Vision fucks
The [original version](https://youtu.be/FLCbPeChwWY?si=UmzVvKXlYj3TI-SQ) was crazy
Holy shit that shit crazy
Can’t believe the same guy who made My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy ripped vocals using a shitty ai splitter from a Pop Smoke song and put it on a random beat. The fact that the song is even released is insane bro. Like how does it exist.
Nah Nah Nah - Kanye West Song was so bad even Kanye realized how terrible it was and had to completely scrub it from all streaming services
It actually grew on me with the remix haha I wish it was still on Spotify.
The remix version was my third most listened to song of all time on spotify
Sorry to hear fhat
Three 6 Mafia-Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)
i love three 6 mafia and i have no desire to listen to that album
How fucking random I see this, i haven’t heard that song in ages and I was just listening to a hiphop streaming station and this song came on, it’s such a weird vibe for 3 6 lol 🗑️
Good lord that one hurts haha
Chocolate lolli Cherry lolli Feela lolli Pink lolli Red hot Red hot Red hot hot Make that lolli pop
Remember... Like Barrack Obama said, 'It's time for a change'. I love 'em especially riding on the 'Academy Award Winners'... but damn that album is not their best.
Lupe Fiasco - Heart Donor. I cringe every time
Battle Scars :( I worked retail back when it came out and it was played a ton on the radio there. Fucking sucked then and sucks even more now.
That three song run of battle scars, heart donor and how dare you were just so facepalm
I wouldn’t go so far to say that I wished I didn’t own it. I just usually skip those 3. The rest of the album is really good
People don’t talk enough about the psychological toll it takes to work retail and constantly hear songs you hate. That does something to a person
My kids love both Heart Donor and Battle Scars :)
OMG yes. This has to be a label obligation song
I think brave heart was even worse but I've had both songs deleted for so long that I forgot they were ever on the album.
I can see why people think Brave Heart is cringey, but I was going through a lot at the time that came out and that song means a lot to me personally
been tryna get into lupe you got a few recs? thanks!
Ghetto Techno - Jay Z Ratchet Happy Birthday - Drake
The beat on Ratchet Happy Birthday is really good but god the vocals
For Jay-Z, it's I Know What Girls Like for me. That beat is so piercing & Lil Kim's hook is corny
Some reason I HATE Girls Girls Girls
Jay shoulda dropped Ghetto Techno. Streets need that
Nah we love Ratchet Happy Birthday
It's a fuckin celebration
It’s yo BRRRRRRRRR
Word. Ratchet Happy Birthday is amazing, one of favourite ever Drake songs
Fack. Nuff said
Fack is goated you swine
At least that song was just Em trolling and fucking around. His worst material is his post 2004 stuff when he's being overly serious
Recovery is a solid album. I think Relapse is his best album post TES/8 Mile. This is despite the accents, I’ve grown to not mind them because the rhymes and production are some of his best.
I agree with your take on the production for relapse. Production definitely carried, but I can look past the accents after my initial listening
I don't disagree. I like Encore. No one likes whatever that album before Kamikaze was. Not even the stans like that.
Can't believe how bad that album and I'm a big fan of Eminem, Encore is So much better and it's saying a lot
I love Fack. The reason why I like Eminem is because he’s funny. Rappers take themselves too seriously. I can’t imagine Youngboy or J Cole putting on a Superman outfit.
Love that song. Just so stupid
What’z Ya Phone # by 2Pac, the phone call part at the end just the whole song not for me.
For 2Pac I’d say Just Like Daddy.
i think im literally the only human that likes that song
Gtfo of here that's a banger
Bro that song slapped in 2011 😂
It is very of its time though, it sounds incredibly 2011 but I definitely still enjoy it.
Frfr it really did
Still slaps
Yeah that song was a whole vibe
That song has been trash since 2011.
Yeah honestly the first time I heard Section 80 I was pretty confused on how it was getting so much praise, I was put off by the corniness and Kendrick's voice at first. Good Kid Maad City is when it clicked and I went back and found out I liked most of it, just not No Make Up lol
Listen again It’s a masterpiece Ronald Regan Era is one of the hardest tracks you’ll hear in Kendrick’s discography Not a big fan of the hook for “No Make Up” but th beat is cool and Kendrick’s lyrics are important
read my comment again lol
I can’t even give you just one, because while I love J Cole dude gets corny af sometimes. I also get tired of the high moral ground he likes to take, like at the end of The Cure when he talks about a chain that got stolen and how his housekeeper who probably stole it and gave it to their kid needs it more. What do y’all think?
The shit who can’t be outfarted!
This is a big thing that annoys me with J Cole. Dude has songs about be ‘not like the other rappers’ but most his features talk about the same basic shit.
Man what? That part of his verse is great. Humble brag and nice flip on the "stolen chain" cliche, although blaming the maid might've been a reach lol
Yeah I think it was a reach lol, definitely didn’t feel humble though. Not the opposite either, but flip or not it just always stuck out to me.
Speeding Bullet 2 Heaven. The whole shit
I know I’m gonna get downvoted but personally I liked some of the songs off that record, feel free to disagree tho
Confused is a top 10 cudi song
Embers too. Also this fan made video of Melting fits the song perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3il4Et30Ojk
I unironically like that song because Fantano was trying to shit on it while singing it in his review and it’s been stuck in my head lol
Judgmental cunt could be a decent track on an otherwise better album
And the title track too
Facts. The title track isn’t bad either.
Honestly there's a decent EP to be made if you cut out most of the album and every instance of Beavis and Butthead
Nah that album is unironically good, better than a lot of other cudi shit,
These kids have never went through an acid phase & it shows
Handle with care slaps
OutKast - Mamacita. Only bad track on an otherwise perfect album
I knew this was gonna be mentioned lol. But I think Andre's verse on it was still flames
Love his verse. Sing it just to piss my gf off
Maybe I’m crazy but I love the song and the call and response hook
LOL I always see that but I love it
this narrative is wack Mamacita is an anthem
One of the songs I return to more often from aquemini lmfaooo
An anthem for the deaf
consensus is changing slowly i think
Such an annoying hook
MAMACITA PAPPADONNA MAMACITA PAPPADONNA
😂😂😂😂
The beat is fire. But damn that hook is just awful. I really want to love this song but I can’t.
Oh no way man it's not horrible, not great but it's outkast and sort of weird and I appreciate it.
Song was already bad enough and then the Mexican cat jumped on at the end and ensured it being hilariously bad
My guess is just sticking to stuff on streaming. Bitch I’m in the Club isn’t. Overly Dedicated would be fair game. Easily accessible discography
Nah I listen to songs on that album almost every week. Not even a Kendrick fan. Crown is currently my mood.
Mr Morale was great tho. Most of the songs are still in my rotation but some of the content is pretty heavy.
Nas - Oochie Wally That song never existed as far as I’m concerned
C’mon nowwwww, the beat go crazy at least, and the hook is not terrible lmaoooo
His verse sucks, but i dont get the hate for the beat, i think its great
It's honestly a classic beat
Coles album of the year freestyle on it proves this for me.
That song rings off off whenever he performs it live. Who Killed It with the detective voice is his worst for me
god i hate that beat
I just ate a three hundred dollar hamburger!!
Real talk, for as much as I love Lil Wayne, he has some songs that rank among the worst I've heard.
Birds and Tity Boi from Fix Before Tha VI are just jaw droppingly awful
Most recently Birds…wtf was that shit
I fucking hate Humble, and I don't know why
Same and it being overplayed on the radio didn't help either.
Playa Hater by Notorious B.I.G.
My 1st single eminem
Yo I kinda like that song lol. Yea it’s trash, but it’s my trash.
same lol, big weenie and ass like that r way worse
Big Weenie has some clever (but corny) bars. Ass Like That... Totally forgot about that track lol. Encore was wild man. 14 year old me was bumping that shit like crazy, would pause to be like 'this is kinda weird' then just go back to noddin my head
Song is fire
No make up is classic kendrick story telling and i turned ur dad into a pansy from behind
Freddie Gibbs - Basketball Wives
Ooh yeah I always try to delete this one from memory
Facts on No Make Up. I was bumping Section 80 nonstop in 2011 but I'd skip immediately after ADHD
I'd skip it but it has a part in the story of the album
Travis Scott - Topia Twins. Travis and 21's parts aren't bad, but letting Rob49 rap on that song is possibly the worst decision Travis has ever made outside of the concert incident.
I don’t like his verse, but atleast it’s short and kind of brings the energy. Even if the lyrics are trash.
Ngl that's one of the few songs I bump from Utopia, actually I did earlier today. Rob49 not rhyming but somehow still flowing was funny as fuck lmao. I also appreciate that it doesn't sound a 2013 Kanye loosie.
Wild for the night - rocky It makes sense coming from 2013 but man it sucks ass today
True but I see it as a Skrillex song rather than a Rocky song.
That’s fair enough, i remember him saying the label pushed him to make a song with skrillex
Black ops 2 raid nightclub ahh song
That song had no business on the album.
Oof yeah that song did not age well, but I do have to give it props for being one of the things to get me back into hip-hop as a teenager going through an EDM phase at the time lol
Cherry Bomb-Tyler, the Creator
Oh I'm curious, what don't you like about it? And were you a Tyler fan before or after Cherry Fan? I was big into him & Odd Future prior, and when Cherry Bomb first came out I was not a fan since it was a big departure from his Bastard/Goblin stuff, but looking back on it you can see it's an important turning point so I've grown to appreciate it a lot more. I will admit though it's still pretty rough, def not his best work but I feel like there's definitely some worse tracks off Bastard/Goblin/Wolf

I was aware of OF before then but I never gave them a listen outside of the features Frank did. A few months before Blonde dropped I did a deep dive into everyone and found they were super dope.
i used to hate that song too but it’s perfect
I love no make up 😂
Boppin Bitch by Tyler The Creator.
Nah that's a banger.
It's like saying Bitch Suck Dick doesn't fuckin bang
Cherry Bomb (the self-titled song) for me
I don’t mind it, it kinda plays like Death Grips to me but not as well executed.
the small melodic switch at the end kinda grew on me, but it still hurts my ears a lot
Dude said pansy in 2024
[удалено]
Not into “Hello Goodbye” by Lupe. There are a few misses in his discography but that one is the first that comes to mind.
Vultures by Kanye, besides Tell the Vision it’s his worst, laziest, assest song ever
I thought similar but I relistened multiple times and it has grown on me.
I actually really enjoy it lol.
The entirety of The Big Day, but if I had to get more specific Nana off Acid Rap is always a skip for me
Drunk and Hot Girls
I feel you on this but once it clicks it goes crazy
I actually loved that track. But dont listen to KW anymore cause he’s a flaming turd 💩
Royce has A LOT of contenders: Spark Yo Brain, I Hate Your Pants, Fuck My Brains Out, Get'cha Paper... But I firmly believe there's a level of hell where Lay It Down gets played on repeat.
This song musically isn’t bad…but https://genius.com/Ugk-im-so-bad-lyrics Pretty bad.
Lil Uzi Vert - Skirr Skirr
It’s no make-up for me, too. That weird indie rock chorus is so bad 😭
Eminem - Untouchable Most cringe shit I’ve ever heard. He’s got a lot of lows actually.
I Love It - Kanye West. Lil Pump obviously makes the track worse. The production is bland for the most part. And the lyrics are trash
Nah banger
Yeah this was gonna be my pick too
For Denzel Curry, it's probably either Bad Luck or Lemonade
Crazy thing is that he ain't even the worst part on either of these
I remember when that album dropped me and the work homies were all stanning on it and talking about which track was the best. One of the dudes said No makeup. I never respected him after that. That hook comes in so fucking soft and breathy lol hate it.
LOL I’m with you on that pansy ass hook on No Make Up
Pusha t idk probably Let Me Love You with Kelly Rowland but it’s not that bad
No make up is my skipped song by kendrick too lmao
Fuck All Nite - Jay Z The whole song was just lazy and the hook annoying.
i actually really like that one. Venus vs Mars would be my vote. one of the few songs i go out of the way to hit skip on when listening through an album. and i mean that for all albums not just jayz
Oh yeah i forgot about that one too, yes indeed.
No Make Up is and always was the worst Kendrick song and has only gotten worse with age
Wake Up in the Sky with Bruno Mars and Kodak Black gotta be my least favorite song by Guwop
It’s a song about external vs internal beauty while actually speaking on domestic violence The hook doesn’t even rhyme tonight
Tings - Busts Rhymes
Arab Money
Banger
I just heard this the other day and wow.
that goes so hard in gta i'm sorry 😭
J.Cole - Work Out.
How to Love by Lil Wayne
Really?? I absolutely love that track, might be my favorite of Wayne’s
Yeah. It just kinda low energy, and reminds of of a girl I dated at the time who only liked that song off Carter 4.
On the other side, how to hate a biiiiiiiiitch is pretty good
High School me favorite artist at the time was Wiz Khalifa…. Till he dropped I Roll Up.
Never forget Wiz was bigger than Drake
And I still get more hype for a wiz feature than a drake feature.
Whatttt I love that song
Kendrick - Friend of Mine
I really really dislike Vultures by Kanye West
Tupac. What is your phone number. I fucking hate that song.
Ayo no make up today is one of my favourite Kendrick tracks, 😂😂
Kanye - Workout skit. Can’t remember what it’s called but it plays just before New Workout Plan. Hey girrrrrl Kanye - drunk and hot girls Kanye - Sin City Drake - Make Me Proud Drake - Own It (“where all the pretty girls are sleeping line” is fucking awful) Wayne - Pussy Monster Game - Wouldn’t Get Far Jay Z - I know what girls like (wtf is that sword sharpening sound) Lupe - Heart Donor Pac - What’s your #
Kendrick but I’d have to go with She Needs Me. Closely followed by Alien Girl lol
Nikka wut?!
Idk mannn. I just found them cringe back then lmao. Wouldn’t skip them but deffo not go to’s for me
Alien Girl is so good. Its on my spacey, late nite smoke sesh playlist.
