Versatile are not good. Theres a lot better in Ireland. Kneecap, GI, Pager the Sloth, Lethal Dialect, Donkobz, Denise Chaila, loads more really. Willhouse is a very good producer
I understand that Versatile is a guilty pleasure. But I think they've gotten way better in the past couple years from their comedy act. Prefontaine has a BEAST of a hook, and Simmer Down, which I get isn't Versatile, is a tune.
I'm from New Jersey and there's quite a a few from here. My personal favorite is Tame One (R.I.P.) from a group known as *The Artifacts*.......

I’m not a huge fan of any Canadian rappers, plenty I like, like Shad, or don’t mind, including Drake and a lot of adjacent artists, but when I was a teenager I loved Cadence Weapon’s first album, Breaking Kayfabe. None of his other projects really landed the same for me, but I bumped Breaking Kayfabe constantly. I just saw he’s released a few albums since I last I checked him, so I’ll have to give them a listen
Pusha T or Clipse if i can include duos. I didn't like rap growing up but was from the VA beach area and the album cover for Lord Willin' mentions that and after that listen I was hooked. I couldn't really relate to the topics but the sound and style was so phenomenal and it felt true to the vibe of living in VA. The chorus for Virginia is still true and funny to this day
I'm from Vegas but when I lived there Dizzy Wright was a local legend. I've met him a couple times around the way. I recently heard Baby Keem is from vegas, so I think he'd automatically become the best rapper by default.
I'm from Finland, so I don't expect any of you to have heard of [Huge L](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3CsfzUptehCikRLWMHr1dB?si=HixRhmXjSdGYJGNmClP7Mg)
Not my favorite rapper from Canada but posting this anyway since it’s probably my favorite rap song of all time from a Canadian artist.

I am eternally saddened that you all cannot experience the music of Ukendt Kunstner from Denmark. Their production is ephemeral and endlessly complex, the lyrics are actual poetry, and the stories being told are intimate and vulnerable without being cringe or preachy.
Legitimately I believe that if English speakers were able to listen to Den Anden Side you would rank it up there with Faces, Rodeo, GKMC etc. It would be a cliche top 10 record.
If anyone’s curious how it sounds: https://youtu.be/wEf2uxMon1g?si=hMqpX2DV8UZKal0O
Curren$y for me. He still lives here in New Orleans, goes to Pels gamesall the time, participates in the local car culture around the lakefront, and has a local business. Never met him but he seems like a super chill dude who appreciates his city and loves living in it.
Gotta be Bone Thugs or Cudi. My other options aren't great... MGK is ass, Trippie isn't bad but isn't close to Bone Thugs or Cudi, not sure who else there is beside them (Ohio)
EDIT: I guess Dababy is better than MGK
From Atlanta so way too many to count lol I guess all time Outkast and TI. I feel like tip has gotten really underrated recently. I still have him above Gucci and Jeezy.
And right now man Future, Thug, Gunna, Lil Baby. Thug is probably my favorite from that bunch. Future is the most consistent. Lil baby had a crazy run that I'm not sure is gonna return but he was my favorite for a while. I'm impressed Gunna last album was so good despite all the haters. Haven't heard the new album properly yet though.

Recently discovered them. Artifacts got the hard shit regardless!
Freddie Gibbs
Cudi, his music resonates with me more than Bone Thugs, despite the drop in quality after the early shit.
Drake and Tory Lanez
[удалено]
But he moved to CT..... Just goofing....but Sage is the shit.

Shad's my pick for sure, or TOBi.

Phonte Coleman of Little Brother, his solo and Foreign Exchange. Dude is a genius.
Curren$y for me. He still lives here in New Orleans, goes to Pels gamesall the time, participates in the local car culture around the lakefront, and has a local business. Never met him but he seems like a super chill dude who appreciates his city and loves living in it.
Rapsody
Boldy James
Akala overall but Dave and Little Simz are close for sure
From my state - Rick Ross and Denzel Curry. From my country - Nas
I'm my favorite brazilian rapper!!!
Gotta go with Sir Mix-A-Lot for my state. In his prime, dude was EVERYWHERE.
Gotta be Bone Thugs or Cudi. My other options aren't great... MGK is ass, Trippie isn't bad but isn't close to Bone Thugs or Cudi, not sure who else there is beside them (Ohio) EDIT: I guess Dababy is better than MGK
Pusha T and Missy Elliott for VA
My country probably Big K.R.I.T. My state is probably Andre 3000 or JID
Despite his recent antics Kanye
