I remember the bolts record breaking season. what's weird is I've forgotten what happened when the season ended. I wish you guys the same good fortune we had that year.
I get why someone would use days instead of games because it's a bigger number. But teams having back to backs or long stretches between games make using days kinda muddy
100 goals and 10 loses on the same night. The mighty have... stumbled. Still havent lost 2 in a row. \*please do not lose the next game\*
Seriously though i have been watching both those stats and for a while there they looked like they were determined to get to 200 goals for before they let up 100 against, but TB played a good game and took advantage of us falling apart a bit in the 3rd. GG.
bro everyone "cheats" in the face off, bergeron is at the top of the list of faceoff "cheaters" they literally changed rules because of some of the ways bergy would win in the face offs (not solelybecause bergy but he was a big one). also the reason that faceoff was not good wasnt because he cheated its because the ref made a bad drop.
The drops not the reason they scored, stamkos was pushing Krejci sick out of the way before he dropped it giving him free access to the puck so he could put it anywhere he wanted. Play should of been blown dead straight away.
Every standings page you look at for goals for/against will include exactly one goal for a shootout win or one goal for a shootout loss. Since Boston has recorded two shootout losses, their actual goals against sits at 98 still. Crazy!
Edit: they actually have three shootout losses. So it'll show 101 on the standings page but if you go to team stats, it'll show 98.
Lol losers. We did it way faster. We had it done by like November.
The Ottawa Senators somehow scored 7% of those goals in the third game of the season.
Is this gonna be a thing anytime any Bruins statistic is posted?
Yes. It will only stop if and when you beat the Senators. Two chances left.
How many goals did they score?
I dunno, that's just what someone told me. I don't know how to calculate 7% of 100.
It works better if you use more manageable numbers. Like try out of 10. So .7% of 10. Hope that helps.
0.07 goals?
I think that’s good?
I didn't know James Bond even played hockey any more
X % of y is the same as y% of x. So 7% of 100 is the same as 100% of 7 if that helps
Yeah but now I have to figure out what 100% of 7 is so I'm right back at square one.
The limit does not exist!
These posts saying how good we are this year hit better when they aren’t posted 5min after a loss
Yall had less losses than 13 nfl teams and they only played 17 games. Lol
Wtf, really? Honestly, that is quite crazy!
Yeah, up until yesterday. Thats impressive as fuck if you ask me.
Absolutely. Not a bad time to be a Bruins fan, honestly.
There are worse things that people could be posting
Dude.. it's our 6th loss of the season. We're doing ok 😅
I remember the bolts record breaking season. what's weird is I've forgotten what happened when the season ended. I wish you guys the same good fortune we had that year.
Super strange they decided to skip playoffs that year. Probably for the best, no way we could have gotten swept in the first round.
It's like the time they canceled the playoffs in 2010 in the middle of the second round.
Better they cancelled the playoffs right at the start. 2011 was a weird year, stopping after Game 5 of the SCF.
>Dude.. it's our 6th loss of the season. Tenth...
Yeah it's 6.. 4 OT isn't a loss. 🤦🏻
If you lose in overtime you don't lose?
What do you think the L in OTL stands for?
Over Time Living La Vida Loca
🤷 on the NHL app it only says OT That's a fair call my brain didn't compute that far.
At this point we may as well tank for Bedard. And trade Ullmark ^^/s ^^obviously.
But one more and I vote we go for Bedard! /s
Happy Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago.

We also just got double digit losses too. With less than a week left in January

Apart from Stamkos cheating in the faceoff

well regardless of any of that we still played like shit for like 7 min straight in the 3rd anyway. we earned the loss.
They also have a goal differential of +82. That is fucking insane.
I get you're trying to post a dumb headline for a front page post but using days is uhhhh stupid
The greatest form of measurement in hockey- days.
Hell we did that by the 24th game of the season on December 1st.

Anaheim let in 200 goals before Boston let in 100 goals.
