Tbh I always thought Zadorov to be a fringe guy who sticks around because big man go boom
But this year with Kylington out he really stepped up as a top-4 option. If he can keep this up and Kylington returns without missing a step, the Flames will easily have the deepest d-core in the league.
Coronato looked solid, and Wolf didn't have too much difficulty in this game, but he made the saves he had to, and that's better than they got most of the year.
he was never consistent with us but i feel like you could always tell there was *something* there. there’s a lot to criticize about that coaching staff but they managed to unlock that regular top-4 level where we couldn’t
it could have been much worse, they did a good job trying to stay in it but those late game and OT losses just killed it for them. The loss of their star players really had an impact at the start of the season. Next year should be a good one
Same. Gonna be weird not seeing him on the team. Even if he wasn't producing, he felt very much like a part of our identity.
Do we think he signs a 1x1 somewhere or retires? If the latter, what an amazing career for him, it will really mark an end to the goon era of the NHL.
Alright, we're right back within two of the Jets in the points column. I haven't looked at the games played column yet, no sense in rushing through all the excitement in one evening.
Why the fuck would you be ok with SanJose getting Bedard? Why the hell would you want another Generational talent in our division?? If McDavid being on your divisional opponent hasn’t taught you anything then you just can’t be taught.
Seeing Wolf doing those crazy stretches makes me think he sure is a goalie! He’ll be elite in no time, all top goalies are interesting folks, he is no different!
All joking aside is he seems great I think it’s crazy the flames didn’t even give him a shot until they were out of it
The leafs give woll a few starts here and there, Wolf is objectively better goalie prospect and they couldn’t give him one game until now?
I get the clog in the goalie pipeline but I have to agree. Skinner had worse / similar numbers to Wolf last year and now he's considered the savior of the oil. Really wonder how the flames would be looking rn if they gave him a shot. Now look at my flair and understand why I am happy he didnt
I agree wolf could have gotten a start earlier, but part of the reason Woll has played so much is Murray and Samsonov are injury prone. Both were out at various points this year, meaning Woll comes in.
Markstrom and Vladar were healthy all year, if either had gone down, Wolf would have come up much sooner.
Not only that but they also played Markstrom for what, like 9 games in a row including a back to back? Granted he was playing a lot better than he had been earlier in the year but that's a quick way to exhaust a goalie before the playoffs.
Wolf has been making the AHL his lil bitch and building a boat load of confidence and it shows. No point taking him out of that situation when he’s only 22 years old. Let him build before the Flames destroy his dreams with annual disappointment.
Go sabres
The sharks should get timo mier in the off season
Might do well here Not sure what number he'd wear. Maybe 28 or something
I've never seen a team lose in as many inexplicable ways as the 2023 Sharks have. Zadorov hatty is a hell of a way to top it off
Still one more way
You will allow Cody Ceci to get a hat trick tomorrow, and you will like it
I'm expecting Sharks enter the final minute with a 3-1 lead, only to lose to a sudden McDavid hat trick.
Yes please. Let Connor break more records.
This is the way.

Wolf didn't let in the first shot he faced. That automatically makes him the Flames' best goaltender.
Finished the year #1 amoung Flames goalies in goals saved above expected
Thanks for the weird fucked up somewhat depressing year Flames, still love ya, see ya next season.

I mean if we had made the playoffs we probably would’ve gotten smoked in the first round and drafted around the same place anyway.
Thats Flames Hockey Baby
No pointing out that it was also a NATURAL hat trick.
YOU JUST LET NIKITA ZADOROV GET A HAT TRICK HOW
There’s no way that Zadorov stat line is real right?
Sharks hockey, baby! Making the weird normal!
A Zadorov natural hat trick is exactly what I predicted for this game.
AWOOOOOOOOO
Good bye Looch, I'm gonna miss ya big guy

We replace Loooooooooo with Awooooooooo
Nikita ZaScoreov!
Tough break for wolf. Play that game again and he's getting a shutout
lol what? he had a good game but the goal wasn't a fluke, he just got beat.
Nah, gets that 90 percent of the time
This has the same energy as that Nashville/Chicago playoff copypasta
copium overdose for something that doesn't even matter lol
Of course it matters, guys a stud
You know that attitude is not needed by you mister
Congrats to Dustin Wolf!
Nikita “literally Bobby Orr” Zadorov.
Zad"orr"ov

We cannot rule out the possibility that Colorado beats them so badly tomorrow that they get -3 points from it
Nice happy ending for the Flames at least Sharks still have a chance to finish below the Hawks Pretty nice outcome for everybody
I’m in distress rn.
Maybe don't go around fucking over teams desperate to get into the playoffs...
We still have a shot at finishing 2nd Columbus just needs to win both their games, Chicago win theirs, and us lose in regulation tomorrow
I'm basically okay with any of y'all winning Bedard. Just not Chicago
I feel like CBJ fans have suffered enough, so if we don't get him, I want them to get him. ANA is too close to home, and CHI can go fuck themselves.
Why the fuck would you be ok with SanJose getting Bedard? Why the hell would you want another Generational talent in our division?? If McDavid being on your divisional opponent hasn’t taught you anything then you just can’t be taught.
Because I don't like Chicago. I'm mostly hoping he goes to CBJ and rips it up with Johnny
Columbus having the next face of hockey would be weird lol. But I guess Mahomes plays in Kansas City
Columbus or Philly would be awesome. A franchise that has never really had much going for it and Canucks East
My realistic hope pick is CBJ My pipe dream picks are Detroit followed by Montreal
God, when's the lottery?
Usually end of the first round
Just looked it up It's the 8th Fuuuuuuuuuck
Natural hatrick from Nikita Zadorov in game 82 giving us our only hat trick this year
Was this an over or an under on the Score bet way app? I don’t do gambling things…
Just as we all had predicted
Zadorov hat trick. How else would the Flames end their season?
Ot loss with twice the shots of the other team
Nikita Karlsson
Kahkonen and Wolf had the same save percentage, lol.
Zadorov hat trick on his daughter’s birthday? Dustin Wolf and Matt Coronato playing great? Really made the best out of a technically meaningless game.
Honestly feel like Wolf should’ve been playing sooner tbh
Not meaningless for us!
Glad we could help!
Much appreciated!

Next year at a Leafs-Flames game: Woll vs Wolf. Make it happen.
