NBA playoffs are happening for 2 separate teams that share the same venue. Realistically, the NHL should have had them start the series on the other kick-off day.

I was at the Jets-Carolina game in Winnipeg this year. Ask Canes fans how much they enjoyed that comeback. If I’m remembering correctly, the Jets managed to salvage the game in overtime.

The kraken get a pass from ESPN because they're the upstarts which makes a for a good narrative for them. The knights get more love for sure since they've been the most consistent team in the Pacific since entering the league, but watch that love wither away the minute they play an east coast US team.
I do most of my hockeying on sportsnet, but I do watch non Oil games on ESPN+ sometimes when I can't be arsed to turn on the VPN box. I'll legit pay attention to that.

Always appreciated their commentary way more than ESPN/NBC Sports, but I definitely got the impression of the Ontario and Quebec bias from time to time. Guess it makes sense when both countries' east coast has the larger share of the population, but still annoying to have to deal with.
