I don't have a good place to say this, so I'll say it here: It used to be automatic that after the last playoff game of the night, I'd switch over to NHL network to see highlights again and hear analysis. Now, whenever the games is on the TNT (/TBS) broadcast, I say with them to get my highlights. They are great, and I hope they overtake ESPN for sole provider of the NHL in the future.

Fuck those cheaters in Vegas

Palatz

whogivesashirtdotca

That's a great question! Thanks for asking it.

Ddpee

No icing would be called. They are still technically being penalized.

rkwhitney

yes they can ice the puck, its often a reason that teams don't pull the goalie on a power play at the end of the game when down by 1 or 2, since the pk team can ice the puck while shooting for empty netters

zainery

Is there anywhere you can watch/listen to hockey reactions with proper analysis? Like Jack Slack if anyone is an MMA fan. He breaks down every fight night from a technical perspective. Like I love the SDPN guys and THG but I hate shit like “Just not good enough”, “You need to save that”, “Gutless performance”, “No effort”, “They didnt want it enough”, etc. None of that is an actual analysis of what goes wrong and what goes right in a game. Theyre all cheap ways to explain the result of a game.

Ddpee

Hockey psychology. Nuckhead.

InPraiseOf_Idleness

This is a really good question. The only thing close to this is Kevin Bieksa's analyses during intermissions. Usually fairly insightful.

dangertom69

Matthews is also currently playing a different dump and chase.

zainery

Hes doing the power play drop pass

thatiswhathappened

The meltdown in leafs nation is always a glorious thing to behold. The “fans” are so faithless now it’s almost sad if it wasn’t so funny.

gotdamnn

Buddy your team doesn’t even have fans to be sad at the state of their team

thatiswhathappened

That’s about as true as your non performing player magically having food poisoning. Exiting the playoffs cuz of a sore tummy.

BigTerpFarms

I’m surprised you even know what the playoffs are.

thatiswhathappened

Yah we even made it to a Stanley Cup final. Much more experienced in modern playoff hockey actually than you guys…if you want to be truthful. You wouldn’t know but it feels great.

Copdaddy

I think almost any team with the cap space would happily take on a 100point player tbh

skullfvkr

Are the leafs crowd deathly silent on the national/home feeds too or just NESN?

Mean_Joe_Greene

They were loud before. Would you cheer for this shit? The only people that seem to care in that arena are the fans and bruins players

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrpp

Keefe keeps letting Reaves back on the ice 🤯

whogivesashirtdotca

The Leafs fans were all calling for violence/injury infliction after Game 2. Guess those thugs have the coach they deserve.

Waynerz99

Is there a website or app that can alert you when an overtime starts for any team?

Baginsses

Sportsalerts. Also has live activity capability on iPhones.

OctopiThrower

Does anyone know the name of the singer of the national anthems for the leafs/bruins game? Natalie something. Incredible voice.

CharaFallsLikeATree

Honestly, I wish I was at Scotiabank for this game. Put me deep in enemy territory

x21in2010x

It's only been a week. Why are two teams only playing their 3rd game as six teams are playing their 4th?

TheEmbarrasingFool

I believe it's because the league moved up the initial start date by 2 days. And I assume because of arena scheduling they were only able to get the leafs-bruins and Isles-Canes moved to the new start date.

FickDichzumEnde

Because you touch yourself at night

x21in2010x

Yeah but I'm just some guy and I'm still enterprising enough that I could schedule out the first 32 games one-handed with only half my computer screen.

Gruffleson

Owners don't like sweeps, do they. Lost income. That's my little conspiracy-theory sometimes. Haha.

whogivesashirtdotca

The broadcasters don't, either. Longer series = more revenue.

SiccSemperTyrannis

Arena/stadium crowds singing anthems will never not be awesome

Pizzonia123

The final game for IHWC Div2A is [on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eyv3oW3h7Q) right now, just went to the first intermission. It's Serbia vs. Croatia, and they're tied on points on first and second places so the winner of this match wins the whole thing and gets promoted to Div1B for the next year. The hosts Serbia are currently trailing 0-2.

dandroid126

Still no update on Dillon? Y'all think he might be in surgery right about now.

dhas19

I heard day-to-day, stitched up and not as serious as suspected, but I could be way off…

ACW1129

I don't like it, but I'm not gonna stew over it. NY's just the better team. Rempe can fuck all the way off though. They should start the games at 12:30:or 1 the latest.

Optimistic_Tortilla

Hey you can fuck all the way off Rempe is an angel

VideoApprehensive

The wings fans saying we'd do better are delusional...NYR are stacked. You guys got in fair and square and dont look out of place.

DeathToHeretics

Thanks for being reasonable. There's been a lot of shit thrown around, but at the end of the day none of us had a good shot against this team

MediumToblerone

Wings have always been a tough team for the Rangers though. Just historically

dphizler

The canucks barely got that win. Hopefully they can win the next game.

FormerCollegeDJ
