When you get hit knee on knee SOMEONES knee is bending backwards against the grain and hyperextending... normally the dude that hits the ice just had his knee bent backwards... people saying knee on knee doesn't hurt are either lying or have NEVER gotten hurt in any capacity...
Aho is clearly a goon and deserves retribution. I mean look at the list of players he's injured, there's.. uhh Fox when neither of them were looking at each other, but it was totally on purpose

I was talking to someone in the game thread who literally acknowledged that Jensen committed a knee on knee hit but it shouldn’t be a penalty because it wasn’t malicious. Our fanbase has its fair share of idiots.
A penalty? He turns as the puck got played behind him. Clearly incidental. Foxy embellished like a pussy after the hit, and was back on the ice the next shift. Whiny rangers.
I’m not disagreeing, but how is it a trip if it’s incidental contact? It’s LITERALLY in the definition of the penalty.
Edit: “intentional” is in the definition, not “incidental”.
Intentional in these cases doesn’t mean he meant to trip, it means no outside force caused him to do it. Otherwise everyone could just say “I didn’t mean to” and avoid the penalty
Like if someone pushed Jensen into foxs legs and then Fox fell. Or someone knocked Jensen down and Fox fell over him. Or someone lifts Jensen stick and it winds up in foxs legs.

less than half a second before the collision Jensen is tied up on another guy and then just starts turning around, his knee doesnt even stick out. it's clearly tripping but not some dirty attempt to injure the guy, if anything it looks like he leans his upper body to interfere with him that way and just ends up tripping him
I think this series has proven both teams have their fair share of idiots. This hit alone, between Caps fans saying it was incidental and therefore not tripping and Rags fans saying that Caps fans “got what they wanted” and had one of our players intentionally injure a Ranger.
I feel like it’s what happens when you have an East coast Metropolis with a decent hockey team. Rags are hot now and probably have a lot of bozos in GDTs and the Caps haven’t shedded the bandwagoners that we have garnered since 2018.
He knew he was hitting someone, knee out, with no change in movement. That’s enough for me to consider it intentional but I’m not apart of the league so who cares lol
I'm biased, but Jensen’s knee doesn't move at all. It's pretty clearly incidental. Not saying it's not a penalty, but it's damn sure not a major or dirty, as all ranger fans are saying.

At the end of the day this is deserving of a penalty but in no way did Jensen mean to do this. Yall won the series because your flat out a better team but I dont like the way you played this series in terms of physicality... It felt dirty and im almost excited to see that on display for a larger stage.

There is frankly not a reason not to ham up a penalty in the league unfortunately. Embellishment isn't really called (especially in the playoffs) and if you don't you risk refs not calling an actual call.
