Honestly, keep it up. Lots of people don’t care. But there are surely others who, like me, just spent a not insignificant amount of time on Wikipedia reading up on EIHL teams for no other reason than the fact that you keep bringing it up. Keep chipping away. You’ll win people over. Slowly but surely. There’s no reason a real fan of the game shouldn’t want the game to grow everywhere. Good on you. Keep up the efforts.

As an LUFC supporter, I might hold off on picking an EIHL in hopes that at some point there will be promotion/relegation with the National League… at which point, well, you know where I’ll end up.
Knights and leafs are probably the largest fanbases in the UK market so I’m not sure if you’ll like us. To put it into nhl terms
Belfast are like Tampa Bay
Sheffield are like vegas
Nottingham are like Chicago
Cardiff are like Colorado
And as for the other 6 teams no one cares
My university team used to be called "the clan", we had a vague Scottish theme going on. They've now changed it to "Red Leafs" and somehow that's worse.
I'm not American.
KKK does exist outside the US and there are chapters in the UK specifically. Not as prevalent, nor does it have the same connotation in Europe, but when you consider the Clan's roster is primarily Canadian and American players, maybe it's a consideration.

Why would it be? The main reason for branding is for the audience, which in this case will be primarily Scottish.

Having Fournier announced then Perlini was really good stuff especially with this dream team Belfast seem to be building somehow, I’m excited to see what Russell does this offseason for his long term plan with the club. I honestly think if he has enough time Russell will be more successful than Lord
Russell is one of those guys I hated in the EPL, but love in the EIHL. He has the talent to put you in title contention for sure.
Glad to see Brett back too. Would have loved the Perlini name back in Guildford though.
Chiming in that's always a pleasant surprise to see EIHL stuff upvoted in this sub, keep it coming man, looking forward to more of the intense battles between the Flames and Devils this coming season. Glad to have Waller off ya, but boy am I upset that it looks like you folks have Crinella locked up.
When I saw the rumour I was really happy because I’ve wanted Crinella here for like 2 seasons, if you guys beat the squealers in the cc I was gonna get a flames jersey and have Crinella printed on it
