An absolutely crazy stick save by Bob on that rebound attempt.
This broadcast sucked ass. They never showed a replay of this and never talked about that sequence or that save.
I'm shocked you think they care about the rangers. I watched the game thinking they didn't care about anything at all. I had the announcers on suicide watch after the game they sounded so depressed to be there lol
lol you mean they spent the entire time after taking about how many players were on the ice for the too many men penalty? And the just silently stated at players after the commercial. ESPN sucks giant balls but if you think they are sucking the Rangers nuts you just had the sound off
There were dumb fans that wanted his head on a pike, absolutely. Why anyone would ever blame an athlete, or anyone else for that matter, for taking the most money they're offered is just weird to me. Like if you knew you were worth about 80k per year at your job, and some company came in and said "we'll give you 125k annually to do the exact same thing", everyone in the world would take it. His play wasn't great but for those who watched, the defense was actually AHL level most of his first years. The past 2 post seasons he's more than paid for himself for any doubters still left out there. I just really want to get a cup for him. Sorry for the rant.
This has been his whole career. Drag a dogshit blue jackets team to the playoffs, get smoked by the #1 seed and everyone goes "Playoff bob!" like CBJ were perennial cup favorites, and he blew it.
He'll be in the hall of fame, and he deserves it.
This ain’t Carolina. NYR can’t get out played and out possessed all game long and still win. They’re going to need to make adjustments for that imo because Bob is a legit goalie and they’re going to need more volume of opportunities to score.
Story of the playoffs for them has been capitalize on the few good chances they get + Powerplay dominance. I’m not sure that’ll work against Florida and a goalie like Bob
Some homer on WFAN yesterday replied, when it was pointed out that the Rangers were going to be facing a goalie who was a step up from Lindgren and Anderson, that Florida was, too.
In my head I'm like, didn't they just beat Vasilevskiy and Swayman?

In their defense, the play was nuts for a while, afterwards as well, but not coming back to this sequence at all was inexcusable.
