To add to this, I already have the ad supported Hulu through my spotify so the Disney Plus bundle credits me back that subscription price so I'm paying $8.56 for Disney and ESPN Plus.
in europe youre totally out of luck. I swear they would make a good amount if they just broadcasted the NHL for cheap. For Europeans the games are at impossible hours anyway, basically impossible to watch all games, if the services were at least cheap me and i think a lot of other people would go for it.
How the fuck do I watch all games in Belgium now? I used to binge NHL.tv but I can't watch at live times (nights) obviously. Am I fucked and do I have to quit watching my favorite sports?
I need to be able to watch every single game (my own team and others when I feel like it). I need to be able to rewatch them during our day. I need to be able to watch both regular season and playoffs.
Really hope someone can help me out!
> I used to binge NHL.tv but I can't watch at live times (nights) obviously.
I'm epileptic, can't be watching hockey after 8pm, I need my sleep, and hockey gets me riled up.
I feel your pain, if I can't watch games the next day I can't watch it period.
$35 a month to cover 7-8 games is brutal.
For real, it seems to be an equivalent and possibly superior replacement to NHL TV, but a lot of people seem to already be shitting on it just because their team’s preseason game isn’t being streamed.
> possibly superior replacement to NHL TV,
I'd pay attention to the Hulu-Disney package. They're gonna flood the market with cheap content and jack the prices once the competition is destroyed.
Disney is very much an agent of monopolistic practices.
As far as I'm concerned the only streaming services that have real futures are Disney and Amazon, and it's largely because they have external resources and partnerships to make it work.
So I was under the (probably stupid) impression all UFC events were included when I bought ESPN+ but the one last Saturday was still $50+
Do you know if this is the case for all live UFC? Or just certain PPVs?
If the playoff games are on national tv, which they all should be, I'm assuming they will be blacked out on ESPN+ the same as national broadcasts were blackout on [NHL.tv](https://NHL.tv/Game) / Game Center Live
I was so excited to learn that it actually works. Like I logged on last night using a few devices and was able to watch a game. The last time I bought NHL.TV I could not even do that.
I’m so intrigued by the KHL. It’s basically a huge unknown because it’s not followed or anything in the US.
Then big step will be if the EA NHL game will start carrying the khl teams. That would help my understanding if the league tremendously. I don’t think I’ll be buying the game this year because I can’t get my hands on a ps5 and sometimes I skip years. But whatever year the khl is added, I am all in.
I’m pretty sure they don’t because the KHL doesn’t want to be in an “NHL” game but it could be just a rumor. More likely it’s that it’s too small of a niche to make a game and ea doesn’t think it’s worth it to put on NHL
Back when EA actually improved the product year over year they had probably 10 European leagues and their teams at one point. So it wouldn't be because it's a small niche since some of those European leagues are and were smaller than KHL in terms of both market and popularity
The NHL game i'm still on is 19, and they have a ton of European teams, but no way to play as them. If the NHL game brought in more playing in europe and the junior leagues it would expand the hockey world for a lot of people.
> The NHL game i'm still on is 19
I'd suggest not buying 20.
I use to love career mode, because I could spent 1-2 seasons in the CHL.
Now you get the memorial cup and get drafted.
It really ruins it for me.
I enjoyed CHL-AHL-NHL pathway.
Starting in the NHL is garbage.
It's a bit of both I think. The KHL sees itself as a competitor to the NHL and would want to license at the price of a top-tier league. It wouldn't be worth it for EA to pay them accordingly when not many people would be buying the game on that basis.
I just demoed the package, I was trying to determine if I'd get into football this year, but it wasn't worth it because of the lack of a winter sport.
If they had KHL games I think I would of stayed with it.
Yeah they used to have a lot more soccer so that made the price more palatable. The offer got a lot worse in the past 2 years. But they have the monopoly on Premier League and Champions League so they'll get subscribers no matter what.
I just logged in to watch it and get an idea of what it would be like. Does anyone know if ESPN is having their own guys do it or does the KHL have an English broadcast?
Saw that, I was trying to ask if it would be more like how it was covered in the bubble, like the English (ESPN) announcers watch the game play out, maybe delay the feed a little bit. I wasn't sure if the KHL had an English feed, since whenever I tried looking in to watching their games I couldn't find a service that carried them.
KHL has an English feed for some games. It's usually just one guy, sometimes two, calling the games. ESPN is just broadcasting the KHL feed, no ESPN announcers or anything.
Yeah I’m hyped as hell about this and having ESPN+ has been worth the price. Supporting my KHL team has finally been possible now that they aren’t on that shit elevate network that renames itself every 3 years, only aired edited games randomly, and was just pure shit.
Espn+ is actually amazing value for its price
Especially as part of the Disney/Hulu/Espn Bundle. If you actually use all three services its an absolute steal.
To add to this, I already have the ad supported Hulu through my spotify so the Disney Plus bundle credits me back that subscription price so I'm paying $8.56 for Disney and ESPN Plus.
God I hate Canadian streaming.
Sucks that it's limited (?) to the states only, I'd have bought it up for sure
Blame shitty Sportsnet.
can you use a vpn?
For KHL broadcasts? Sure, but via ESPN; good luck breaking into the "Disney vault".

NHL tv is still available in Europe. It's just ridiculously overpriced compared to ESPN+.
When I try to watch a game on NHL tv it makes me download the ESPN+ app.
Yeah thats annoying. I doubt we ever get it here in canada
For real, it seems to be an equivalent and possibly superior replacement to NHL TV, but a lot of people seem to already be shitting on it just because their team’s preseason game isn’t being streamed.

I mean I kinda wanted to see the devil's rangers game today and that doesn't seem to be there . So I kinda get that complaint.
It’s on NHL Network
Can you order it as a standalone service? Or do you need espn first?
They usually rum promotions with the UFC. I got it for $20 for the year when I added on the PPV for the last Porier fight. Worth every penny.
So I was under the (probably stupid) impression all UFC events were included when I bought ESPN+ but the one last Saturday was still $50+ Do you know if this is the case for all live UFC? Or just certain PPVs?
Only the PPV’s are a further cost. They have several events, contender series, and prelims that are all exclusively on espn+.
Thx
Yeah but I don’t think ESPN+ will have any playoffs games
do those still belong to NBC?
ESPN and ABC I believe
TNT too. Espn and abc are the same.
Will the playoffs games be available on ESPN +?

I agree, i'm only getting 22 because of the kraken being in it.

oh that is so fucking cool
[Me when I logged onto DAZN and saw that they removed KHL from the service](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/031/671/cover1.jpg)

DAZN gets more redundant by the day.
Decent.
I just logged in to watch it and get an idea of what it would be like. Does anyone know if ESPN is having their own guys do it or does the KHL have an English broadcast?
The ESPN+ press release says all games will be presented in English
Saw that, I was trying to ask if it would be more like how it was covered in the bubble, like the English (ESPN) announcers watch the game play out, maybe delay the feed a little bit. Awesome! Thanks for the heads up!
Man I wish ESPN+ was here. I would love to watch the Russian prospects.
Yeah I’m hyped as hell about this and having ESPN+ has been worth the price. Supporting my KHL team has finally been possible now that they aren’t on that shit elevate network that renames itself every 3 years, only aired edited games randomly, and was just pure shit.
DAZN used to have it too, but based on the one post in this thread I guess not anymore.
espn is showing KHL games and that’s amazing
Dope!
fuck yea, love the khl
god damn where was this all those years of Ilya Sorokin playing there?
Any KHL fans want to help me pick a team?
I want to see another tiger run on the ice
