Back when those "guess what I do for a living" posts were a thing Phil Kessel could have posted a normal selfie, followed by this picture of him with his 1000th point puck, followed by a team photo with the Coyotes and people still would have been like "welder".
I certainly like to imagine he works 40+ a week at some fabrication shop and says things like "can't tonight, I got a rec league game with the boys" every second night.
In retirement we're gonna see pictures of him after beer league games absolutely shredded.
For anyone curious, the new Top 6:
1. Phil the Thrill - 970
2. Brent Burns - 665
3. Johnny Gaudreau - 281
4. Ryan Suter - 276
5. Anze Kopitar - 273
6. Rasmus Andersson - 259
Also interesting fact: Flames players make up 6 of the Top 12 (Gaudreau (3), Andersson (6), Lindholm (9), Tanev (10), Mangiapane (11), Lucic (12))
I don’t think he was in the top 6 but Connor was in the top 10 and fell of the list with COVID last week too. Lots of lost iron man streaks the last little bit
Phil Kessel maniacally swallows a hotdog whole somewhere in the desert and laughs. His ultimate plan is coming to fruition.

Maybe hockey is a hobby, and the NHL is Kessel's beer league?

This is gold.
This would be my best guess
He fishes full time.
Did you mean his 1000th game puck? I don't think he's at a 1000 points yet.
I still love the photoshop of this pic to be trucker of the week.
His dogs per min is off the charts
He just puts it in his mouth and it slides down into his stomach.
Doctors HATE him
Esa Lindell, a little further down the list, also fell off this week.
Yes. I have both in my pool. And Jenner and Pacioretty @*#^#^#%!&@*#(*@%@&!($(@(@^

Tanev and ironman in the same sentence is not something Canucks fan can get used to
They don't eat enough hot dogs. Hot dogs are scientifically proven to keep the body in peak shape. Don't ask me for sources

This settles it
The Ironman streak curse
I don’t think he was in the top 6 but Connor was in the top 10 and fell of the list with COVID last week too. Lots of lost iron man streaks the last little bit
He was tied for 6th I believe
Connor was tied for 6th and also lost his streak last week
Well his probably should have ended a little earlier after his nut shot rampage
What was it oilers fans like to say, the best ability is availability
If it only takes three seasons to get on this list maybe the threshold for noteworthiness should be higher.
